Omg I had completely forgotten about this... This looks a spot on port of rtype for the mighty MegaDrive wow so many options too for the demo this sounds and looks like it plays fantastically

Looks fantastic! I love that there's a PC Engine mode. That port is dear to my heart. This actually shows how close to thr arcade the PC Engine port was. Cant wait to tey this out! 🙂

The first level is arguably better than the PC Engine version. Lacks the flicker. Sprites are slightly more detailed. Only issue I had is that the "force" module does not suck back to the ship after separation as easily as it is does in the arcade.
