Hi there, so we are booked on a cruise in October 2023 for our 25th anniversary in a Mega Rockstar suite (so excited). This will be our FIRST cruise (on a non-Navy ship LOL so we know it’s gonna be WAY different and a LOT more relaxing). I noticed you mentioned you have a shellfish allergy - I too have a SEVERE shellfish allergy (anaphylaxis - I carry épi-pens every where) how accommodating was the crew to your allergy? My allergy has been what has actually held us back from cruising this whole time. I’m very careful anywhere I go, but I don’t want to be “that person” to have to have the ship meet up with the coast guard to get hauled off - I mean that is so embarrassing. Also any suggestions for us since it’s going to be a BIG anniversary? Like I said we’ve already booked a mega rockstar suite. Thank you for posting all of the videos - they are very helpful

I booked this suite type for an upcoming cruise and noticed this is on the same level as the pool. We do like to enjoy ourselves but in some of the videos I have watched, the parties at the pool go later then we usually stay up. Do you hear these parties in your room at night?

Bryan, the noise wasn't as much of an issue at night since we were generally up late but the early mornings were more of a struggle with our location under the deck chairs being put out.

No we were more toward the front rather than the aft where Richard's Roof Top is. If you go to bed and rise at those times you'll probably be ok. I'd bring a white-noise maker though just in case.

As someone who has been cruising since they've been in diapers... literally. I thought I wouldn't like VV at all... too much change & almost you could say, breaking what's not broken. But I've watched so many vlogs now, I think I may just try them out and decide for myself. It won't be Mega Rockstar or even Rockstar, but even the standard experience seems nice!

It is a completely different experience. I would say it's more like an all-inclusive resort than a cruise. For us, it was a refreshingly different experience. I think if you set your expectations accordingly, you will enjoy it.

This isn’t a Mega Rockstar room, that’s just a normal Rockstar suite. In fact, that’s the smallest of the Rockstar suites. The Mega Rockstar is almost 2200 square feet.

That's actually incorrect. We had a Gorgeous Suite, while at 570 sq ft is a Mega Rockstar suite. The largest of the Mega Rockstar Suites, the Massive Suite, is indeed 2,147 sq ft. However, the Massive Suite, Fab Suite, Posh Suite, and Gorgeous Suite are all Mega Rockstar suites.
