Chewbacca mom was way more relevant then mega64 because of the follow ups. Shawns get-up-in-plane-OHITSNOPLANELOL went VIRAL but no follow ups. no jumping out of a plane or anything. Why is it that whenever someone in a call is acting a bit awkward and the guys are clearly being nice and tolerating it, the next caller has to come in shitting all over the previous caller and calling them cringy or awkward in a contrived attempt to try and score bro points? Like, you're the one being cringy and causing an awkward mood now. What'd you think, that they'd all go "yeah that guy we were nice to because we got that he was passionate about that subject matter sure was a fucking idiot and you're very smart to have noticed it!" It's also fucking annoying when you dismiss someone's interests and emotional investment in something just because you personally have no feelings on it. Like how that guy was implying that because the subject matter was the design of an animated character it means that you'd have to be an immature man-child to care about it. As if it's that hard to imagine someone being invested in a beloved childhood icon.

The guy complaining about Sonic needs to calm down. We know very little about what's in the movie and he's already going on a "They took NOTHING from the comics or games!" tangent.

Sonic was NEVER intended to look how he does in the original trailer for the final movie, it is a PLOY by the studios to generate more attention for the movie than it would receive with a normal launch. Controversy causes far more stories in far more places than the traditional method of trying to positively influence the direct audience base in places they frequent. Because of the controversy, now the news of the Sonic Movie being released is being spread in places where people who aren't fans of sonic frequent, potentially convincing them to go see the movie. It also allows for the studio to look good by seeming to listen to fan feedback, "you all said it sucks so we listened, we're good guys like that we actually listen, support us with your money". The whole thing is a contrived marketing scheme, because we are living in an outrage culture currently, and drama and outrage generates far more views in far more places than trying to persuade people by telling them something is going to be good. Wake up people, we are all being heavily manipulated on a daily basis, especially by the entertainment media industry. Just look at gamergate, wherein "games journalists" were caught COLLUDING on how to review certain games, all communicating secretly through a google email group "gamejournospro". Gamergate has NOTHING to do with "hating women", that's a lie created to misdirect people from the truth that it's about corruption and collusion in journalism, games "journalists" having no journalistic ethics. Some game reviewers have so little ethics they can't even review a game just based on the game itself, they lower their score based on having personal issues with individuals that worked on the game, which has nothing to do with how the game itself plays, which is what a game review is supposed to be all about, how well the game does what it set out to do.
