( I know you can get the gameboy color version on 3DS virtual console but Im not sure if they released the GBA version again) The gameboy versions of mario golf were different than their console counterparts in that, you can create a character and level it up by winning tournaments, match plays and it had an RPG mode where you could visit the clubhouse and talk to people, and do mini games to get more exp for your character! AND the coolest thing too was being able to transfer your character from the handheld versions to their console versions!
