You guys realize that PlayStation just paid Unreal to show the Engine Reveal on the PS5, Microsoft could have done the same thing. The specs for both consoles are nearly identical, Microsoft has a slight edge in one area, and Sony has a slight edge in another (plus that crazy controller, because to me that is a really dope idea, haptic feedback in like an exoskeleton). But yeah my point is they could have easily run that unreal five demo on Xbox Series X and it would have looked just as good (if not better). Microsoft has a ton of events coming, like rapid fire, over the next few months leading up to July (when they show all the first party titles). So how about instead of everybody preemptively talking crap about the underdog as they always do in the game industry, we just wait and see what happens? I always loved and respected you guys because you made fun of the console wars, and how meaningless and redundant they are. Then I watch your podcast and it's like you're all PS4 superfans that talk shit on Xbox (mainly on the last Podcast), not to the extent of the rest of the internet, I mean you're not mindless drones that just hate everything Xbox, but you made some remarks that were pretty inaccurate. And I've said this before, I own both PS4 Pro and Xbox One S and I love them both equally (before ppl go giving me shit in the comments about being a "hypocrite fanboy" or whatever the fuck). I just don't like it when hard working devs and console makers are unfairly judged before they've even had the chance to do anything. They don't have total control over what they show and when, there are so many variables and so much money and stockholder type shit that dictates that I'm sure, it's not like they're choosing to be douchebags and not show good gameplay footage. Why the hell do you think we haven't seen the PS5 yet? All this "REVEAL" stuff is meticulously timed, intentionally planned to be shown at certain events, on certain days, for maximum effectiveness and maximum viewers. Look at the insanity with The Last Of Us 2 leak, that's proof right there. If something gets out when it's not supposed to, everybody loses their minds and it can affect software sales and console sales, etc
