I finally, recently, got a 250GB Hard Drive for my 360. I got the Xbox 360 "Arcade" edition in 2008 and it didn't come with HDD, I got a cheap 20GB refurbished and that's all I've had since 2008. Also, you can still find original 360s' that have never red ringed...they may be more prone to failing because of their age but I've used the same 360 since 2008 and it's never had any problems. I mention getting the hard drive though because; I installed all the games I have onto the hard drive for reduced load times. I also went into my purchase history and downloaded all my DLC, all my digital games, etc, so you can still download pretty much ANYTHING you bought before. I've not used my 360 seriously, in YEARS and going back, it was quite slow and clunky. It took 4-5 hours total to install like 17 games and download several hundred digital items. It's definitely not terrible but it is showing it's age, I still recommend it a lot though...I'm just used to the speed of my PC, now. Definitely still a wonderful, completely capable system.

Rock band 3 on 360 is actually the best rock band experience even today. You can play custom songs with just a usb stick and you don't need to buy the trash ps4 instruments.

There’s like infinite cheap 360s. The slim ones don’t red ring and have the 250gb hard drives. They made another version after that in like 2012 I never had. Came in blue which I guess is cool.

The whole reason I got an xbox one was that I too got rock band on 360 and wanted to play rock band 4 but with over a thousand DLC songs on my account it was worth it to not rebuy them all again (plus some that are no longer available as DLC trapped on my 360 harddrive). Although in this case the best move is probably to get the refurbished 360.

Plus Rock Band 4 is a heaping pile of shit. Such a huge downgrade from RB3. Just play RB3 on a 360, get the patch that lets you play custom songs, bam. good to go!
