Derrick is right. Each star Fox game has the individual pieces to make a fantastic game. Original star Fox is an arcade after burner type star wars trench run, sequel has the real time strategy elements and 64 had the free range dog fights and epic size bosses due to 3d tech. Combine those today and you got the greatest starfox game. Have the same map and character/wingman selection mechanics but take it a step further. Have multiple teams going out with each having strategic strengths & weaknesses on the field. Then have the AI (or multi-player mode) send out ways to test your armada. Also repairs have to be done in real time with your ships going back to a huge ship that needs to be strategically placed close on the map but also defended. To make that part less annoying, have spare ships on board or customizable ships that you can focus on armor if you are making a long run etc. Throw in a trench run, arcade dog fights, adventure style base infiltrations with today's graphics.. WTF Nintendo(I've only played SF64 so grain of salt)

Kirby Superstar has a lot of minigames but also full Kirby platformers of varying mechanics and lengths. Great Cave Offensive, MetaKnights revenge and Milky Way Wishes are all competitors for best Kirby game and all inside of Super Star. It has insanely cool CoOp. friend dimension that shit.

Tbh it sounds like you've only played 64 or the Dreamland games, which are absurdly vapid as far as gameplay. I wouldn't say any of them are particularly difficult but Adventure and the later half games inside SuperStar definitely add a lot of variance and challenge. The Great Cave offensive only takes probably an hour or two but sends you through a single looping underground cave with the goal of looking for treasure behind puzzles/secrets akin to Uncharted. In Milky Way Wishes you don't absorb powers from enemies and instead have to find and unlock them inside of levels. Those are the biggest examples, but I think every part of Super Star is fun. Especially with CoOp. I've heard some of the DS ones also get wacky but I haven't played much of them. Every Dreamland game is basically exactly what you described. Difficulty isn't their goal. Kirby 64 sucks.

Actually, just before Target I went to Best Buy where I waited 10 minutes and I got a ticket to purchase it at 10am. I went to Target because I had a few hours to kill, so I decided to try my luck at Target before 8am when they opened and got one. So with effort, the SNES Mini was kinda easy to find. But it depends on where you live too.

It's really weird to hear about the issues you guys have had with Amazon, I haven't had any issues aside from when they somehow lost my copy of Uncharted 4. I called them and they sent another one for free. I've pre-ordered stuff from them too and have always gotten it on the day it comes out. Wouldn't surprise me though if these issues started to plague me though.

I think a lot of people are misdiagnosing nausea when using any VR headset. I thought I was getting motion sickness when using VR but I found that it was just due to the headset being too tight, essentially hurting my head and the inside. So I loosened it and found I never got fucked up again. Could just be my own dumb ass tho

We can only hope. I was late getting into Mega64 but Shawn always seems pissed, doesn't want to stay a minute longer than he has to, and I mean I get it with the family stuff, I get that the guys have been together long enough to grow resentment for one another, especially when Mega 64 seems to be sinking slowly into obscurity. But I always hoped he'd stick around... Oddly enough I think the podcast was the worst thing to ever happen to Mega 64, it laid their tensions bare and to anyone new watching, it just became a sad spectacle of controlling egos, popular trends (deserving or not) being derided and a latent buried resentment growing week after week. It became an archive of growing old with close friends in the public arena. Just sad..
