@@vincentturco1489 There are a lot of various theories and I don't even think my own grasp of it is 100% accurate either, but a common one is that Asuka was mentally intertwined/linked with Shinji during Instrumentality, and thus saw/felt/experienced what happened when he zerked off in the hospital room to her comatose body in the beginning of the film. This is often backed up by the history of the actual dialogue recordings in Japan; Hideaki Anno (the director of Evangelion) specifically told Asuka's VA to imagine what she would say/feel if she had just been told someone broke into her sleeping area and masturbated to her while she was asleep, and her impromptu response, "kimochi warui", is the actual take that ended up in the film itself.

At the End of... End of Evangelion, Asuka's final line to Shinji has been constantly debated about, because it's such an ambiguous line. The original translation rendered it was "you're disgusting" but it could be interpreted different ways.

But older Eva fans who try to explain it will get into the weeds about the meaning of this and that. But the actual STORY, the NARRATIVE itself is really straightforward. I can say that now with hindsight but if you were to ask me about Eva 20 years ago I’d probably be insufferable about it.

新世紀エヴァンゲリオン劇場版[ Air/まごころを、君に]の実写化版。 すごく良かったです。手作り感満載の小道具、凝ったアングル、たまにクスっとなるところも。弐号機ロンギヌスの槍～初号機がシンジごと拘引されるところがすごく好きです。ゲンドウのアダムを得て巨大化するレイ～人類補完の流れが、本家だと抽象的すぎて理解できなかったのですが、ダイレクトな表現ですごくわかりやすかった。レイが好意を持っているシンジに神の力を与えてしまったのですね。本家が伝えようとしたことがようやく少し理解できた気がします。 It was so good. Props full of handmade feeling, elaborate angles, and occasional camphor trees. I really like the fact that the second machine, Longinus's spear, and the first machine are detained together with Shinji. Rei, who gained Adam from Gendou and became huge, couldn't understand the flow of human complementation because it was too abstract for the head family, but it was very easy to understand with direct expressions. You've given Shinji the power of God that Ray likes. I feel that I finally understand what the head family tried to convey.

The Eva series in EoE is called White Eel, but in Mega64 it's a Pigeon with a red fork... Shinji's reaction to the kissing scene was so sane, I laughed my ass off. Seriously, I can't wait for the new movie version(1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 3.0+1.0). I love the woman playing Asuka (because her voice is seriously similar), can't wait to see her in 2.0. Even though this is an extremely funny and well made parody, I still got emotional at certain moments, and some of these sweded shots are absolutely breathtaking (or even frightening). I especially enjoyed how you dealt with the more NSFW moments of the movie. I don't know if my opinion has been affected by the fact I'm feeling really emotional right now due to a lot of sudden real life stress, but from the bottom of my heart thank you for this video and for all the laughs over the years.
