This card baffles me due to how little this has to do with Odd-eyes. A: this is the second “Odd-Eyes” (first was God Eyes) monster that does weird shit with tributing. In an lvl 7 pendulum beatdown deck. B: odd eyes don’t care about foolishing anything that isn’t darkwurm. C: odd eyes need no more floaters from destruction, they already have arc dragon. This card would make more sense in f“ing hiratics.

Not all of them have to be present, but somthing from this list: -It shoul be a Link 2 or 3 with Materials that should be 2 Performapal/Odd Eyes monsters. -Should have arrows Pointing down -Possibly different effects depending on you summoning Fusion, Synchcro, or Synchro or Xyz. -Maybe an effect to Summon a Odd Eyes or Performapal Monster from the Graveyard or Face Up from the extra deck.

@@dantearmstrong2792 granted, you could argue that Arc pendulum won't get ash blossomed if the effect is used on a monster in the graveyard and there's the possibility that you could use Absolute to bring said monster out (maybe Lancer or Phantasma if you are the one attacking). Most likely the opponent will ash either sky iris, spiral flame strike, wizard dragon's second effect or arc pendulum's search from the deck. So a play from the grave could work. It's just not optimal

The summoning condition is not a problem to me, considering it doesn't need to be special summoned by it's own effect, so you can just pendulum summon it, or summon it with arc pendulum dragon. It's the second effect I don't like, for the reasons said in the video.

Actually the card is pretty good: if you read that with more attention it says "odd-eyes dragon" which means that all cards with "odd-eyes dragon" in their card name can be sended to the grave, including the pendulm versions. Thi thing just appened in Vanguard with the super dimensional robot: the main card "super dimensional robot Daiusha" was translated to Italian in "Daiusha robot super dimensionale", but the archetype need "dimensional robot" so in Italy the card had its errata that says "this card is also a dimensional robot". So this dragon is the same thing like Daiusha, but we need Konami to conferm if this card requires only the originial odd-eyes or it requires a generic one (and if it is, they need to release an errata that specify wich cards use to activate this effect)

I actually like this. As a casual player one of my friends runs a modified saber strike deck. We run triple OG odd-eyes with odd-eyes saber as the boss. This seems like a darker version of saber. We might add this to the deck, who knows.

Two small changes make this card good in odd eyes A: changing the first part to: send any odd eyes to the grave and special summon this card B: and when this card is destroyed it can and the rest of the effect For example if you open with this in you hand and a sky iris and odd eyes arc and a chronograph you ended up with vortex and electtomite with out even normal summoning or pendulum summoning

Konami needs to take notes on this and make a better wizard dragon. the only changes to this card necessary are to send any odd-eyes card as a cost, float upon any form of destruction from either player, and heck make it a generic pendulum so after the destruction it keeps coming back on that pendulum summon.

Man, all they had to do, even if they did not make it a pendulum, would have been to make the cost, an "Odd Eyes" Monster, you could have even kept the dark monster cost I guess, plus change destroyed and sent to graveyard to "sent to graveyard" and even then it would have been a second tier card at best. I mean I guess the one saving grace (if it can so be called) is that its still the pendulum scale range to summon so, you could theoretically still run it without Odd Eyes Dragon, for level 7/ link plays, or to potentially get out its second effect.

This is how you make this card better If this card is in hand: You can tribute 1 Dark monster; send 1 Odd-Eyes Pendulum monster from hand, Deck, or on field to GY, and if you do special summon this card If this card leaves the field special summon 1 Odd-Eyes monster from deck or graveyard except himself. At least - like I said - spamming 5 Monsters out of nowhere and hard to kill them (my Main issues with the mechanic) cant be nothing but broken after decent support Nowdays we actually dont have much good pendel archtype which are somehow competitive besides pendel magician (the Bannlist could be a reason for thar), but Pepe for example were a stupidly consistent pendel Deck which got gladly killed by Konami & this deck showed us how stupid the mechanic can be if it is consistent enough

Like i really hope that if and when the odd eyes link monster gets shown it doesn’t get the shaft, i mean i agree its not a terrible card but so much potential, i mean i run a odd eyes pendulum deck 60 card variant. Which i have ways to still win with that deck and i have multiple avenues of either disruption or just flexibility with making plays. No i agree that wizard has to be destroyed for the effect to work but if it was like the second effect was like if this card is summoned, which means any ways, you can grab a spiral flame strike, or if the effect was if this card was destroyed flat out and sent to the graveyard, then grab both the odd eyes dragon or pendulum dragon yeah for the first effect I love odd eyes pendulum dragon myself personally it gets a bad rep i think so.

If this card added a fusion card and a spell caster card to your hand, at least it would have some attempt at Rune Eyes. No sky iris synergy. No fusion synergy. Isn’t even easy to use for XYZ. Heck if this thing added a dark spell caster and a fusion card to your hand, it could make getting Starving Venom on the field in odd eyes a little easier. None of that though. If it added a dark spellcaster and let you special summon it, maybe you could get a synchro off with the right tuner or a link 1 or link 2. Odd Eyes needs a link currently.

To be honest, 1st effect is a shit while the 2nd was fine since it allow us to summon odd eyes monsters from deck/GY ( just like odd eyes arc pendulum dragon pendulum effect) thus we can add a spiral flame strike
