Bali Indonesia 🇮🇩 Penglipuran is one of the traditional villages or kampung located in Bangli Regency, Bali Province, Indonesia. The village is famous as a tourist destinations in Bali because the villagers still preserve their traditional culture in their daily lives. The architecture of buildings and land processing still follow the concept of Tri Hita Karana, the philosophy of Balinese society regarding the balance of relations between God, humans and their environment. Penglipuran succeeded in building tourism that benefited all of its community without losing its culture and traditions. In 1995, Penglipuran also received a Kalpataru award from the Indonesian government for its efforts to protect the bamboo forest in their local ecosystem.

I have been Bali very recently. It is true that few Hindus beef. Not a large Fresh milk is not available freely and most use milk powder. Do not have a large cattle population. They eat a lot of pork. Pigs are given as dowry! Temples do not have priests and they have occasional .”ceremonies”. They believe in Trimurti and more of Ramayana. A very tolerant population . There are also Christians, Buddhists. Liked the coverage.

Habit of eating was depended on climate and the places where they lived and availability of food sources. Then it became traditional to that particular group of families. Moreover, Hindu or Sanatan religion is one of the oldest religions and most of people of different places from eastern part of Iran to Indonesia followed Hinduism. But their eating habits were different. Even in today’s India also you will get different food habits in different parts of India.
