The "black cymbals" are Classics Custom Dark cymbals from Meinl. The black color is a result of how the cymbals are made rather than a color which was added to them later like with Paiste Colorsound 900 cymbals, which are powder coated.

Late to this I know, but I thought I would respond in regard to drummers wearing gloves, I have from time to time, It's not to do with blisters it's more to do with grip, Hands get sweaty especially under stage lighting makes it easier for sticks to slip, so some wear gloves, some wrap tape around their fingers, there are Drum sticks with grip on them, it all depends on the drummer and the method they feel more comfortable using.

My friend, you pause as much as you want. Pause, pause and pause again. People that complain about that are the same people who think they know Star Wars better than George Lucas. My recommendation is start with the first. the most thrashy, unpolished, speed metal of them all, "Killing Is My Business". Did you know metallicas 4 horsemen is a remake of a song on this album? Take a listen and see if you can guess which one lol. Edit. I posted this after watching the she wolf video, why it ended up here, I do not know 🤘
