The intro solo is so good...wow...I got goosebumps...and I wish this was actually an instrumental in the album.

5:05 - Chris Poland is a fucking god. He's probably the only guy that can take those fusion licks and apply them so perfectly in a thrash metal context. There's just the right amount of those old blues elements in there too. He's so criminally underrated.

Its amazing how people actually consider the originals better than the remastered...Nostalgia is a powerful thing
@mattw44614 жыл бұрын
I actually like the remixed and remastered versions with the exceptions where the vocals were re-done. Take no Prisoners and Five Magics specifically.
@Goabnb943 жыл бұрын
But in many ways they are. A lot is down to personal taste. The problem for me is the remasters fall victim to the loudness wars. Vocals get redone. Different drum takes get used. It can overall become too clean and compressed, when the originals were raw, gritty, dynamic, and most importantly, uncensored.
@liamg93343 жыл бұрын
Imagine liking remasters where 1. Digital drums LMFAO 2. Audio boosted through the ceiling 3. Dave's vocals being 8x more pronounced in the mix 4. Redone vocals that are all terrible. 5. Patched in vocal harmonies that don't fit There's a reason why countdown and peace sells were remastered again in 2010/12. The remasters destroyed what made Megadeth special. Rust in peace specifically was absolutely garbage compared to the original mix in every way. I listened to the remasters first and couldn't get into these classics until I found the originals. There's no nostalgia. You just have garbage taste.
@maxdurk46243 жыл бұрын
@@liamg9334 You know, I don't think that's it. You remind me of those "true kvlt" guys who only like things with intentionally garbage production. The drums are not digital on PSBWB. The guitars, bass, and drums are paper thin on the original and aren't balanced properly. And yes, I hate to break it to you, but vocals are supposed to be on top in the mix? It is the melody? Have you ever listened to music before?
@JM002372 жыл бұрын
@@maxdurk4624 megadeths sound production for they’re early albums sucks but I still prefer them at full blast over the remastered because the original has more raw and dark sound quality that is more enticing then the remastered overly polished sound IMO but hey you can like the remastered I know I like a few of them more then the originals

LYRlCS :3 🤘🏽 Hey, I don't feel so good. Something's not right, Something's coming over me What the fuck is this? Killer, intruder, homicidal man If you see me coming run as fast as you can. A bloodthirsty demon who's stalking the street I hack up my victims like pieces of meat. Blood thirsty demon, sinister fiend, Bludgeonous slaughters, my evil deeds. My hammer's a cold piece of blood lethal steel, I grin while you writhe with the pain that I deal. Swinging the hammer, I hack through their heads, Defiant defiler, you're next to be dead. I unleash my hammer with sadistic intent. Pounding, surrounding, slamming through your head, yeah! Their bodies convulse in agony and pain. I mangle their faces 'til no features remain. A blade for the butchering, I cut them to shreds. First take out the organs then cut off the head. The remains of their flesh now sop under my feet. One more bloody massacre, the murder's complete. I seek to dismember, a sadist fiend. And bloodbaths are my way of getting clean. I lurk in the alleys, wait for the kill I have no remorse for the blood that I spill. A merciless butcher who lives underground. I'm out to destroy and I will cut you down. I see you and I'm waiting for Black Friday Killer, intruder, homicidal man If you see me coming run as fast as you can. A bloodthirsty demon who's stalking the street. I hack up my victims like pieces of meat. I lurk in the alleys, wait for the kill. I have no remorse for the blood that I spill. A merciless butcher who lives underground. I love Dave's vocals back in the day. Hetfield was pretty good until he started to try to sing like a country singer. I blame Bob Rock for that.
