Overseas, in Japan, Brazil & Europe there are some great bands who are relighting the flame and I'm happy to say I am more optimistic about music than I have been since the days when rap & grunge destroyed the American musical landscape. @@MVProfits indeed, although I relive my moments in a mosh pit from the 80,s quite easily without a phone. Back then you only got to see your heroes every two years when they toured or you read about them in magazines or you bought a VHS tape. So when you were at the front and Megadeth hit the stage with their opening number your feet hardly touched the floor, the excitement was real. I really must stop clicking on these videos, they just make me sad. I want to see these bands again but even though I am in my fifties I still want to thrash around in the pit and it's not my age that stops me, it's not wanting to knock some twat,s phone out of their hands.
