This song in particular is pretty mainstreamish, very similar to Symphony of Destruction, but the album itself is quite far from that. There are many songs with lots of solos, complex structuring and many of the songs are mainly instrumental, just like on their best records imo, Rust in Peace, PS...BWB and KIMB...ABIG.

Watch the movie "Idiocracy"...it's a stupid comedy, but sad in the sense that it shows human intelligence on the decline over a 500 year period. This is actually happening, but much faster. It's not a rumor, Lars/James/Kirk have confirmed it many many times, the rumor is just when exactly it'll drop though Lars stated something about it'd be hard to see the album coming out later than 2016, so we're hoping for a fall release sometime in October. As for whether it'll be good or not, they aren't writing music like they used to as Jerimya mentioned, but I personally think Death Magnetic was a phenomenal album (though production was awful) with great lyrics. I think this next album will be pretty good, they've released snippets here and there of some songs and they sound heavy, so I'm looking forward to it.

Andrzej Ochał I think from what I heard, it'll be similar to DM mostly, which was a callback to the original stuff with the thrashiness of KEA/RTL/MoP, and the heaviness of the Black Album. Though, I could be wrong, but I think someone said it'll have more "experimental" styles, but not Load/ReLoad experimental. Though again, not sure. the Metallica subreddit has a decent bit of information if you wanna stop by and check it out.
