Even though I like the Friedman-Menza lineup the best, because of its production and precision, I sometimes like this lineup the best, because this lineup is amazing - and this is where it started. Great band, especially back then.

0:28 That smile and funny face Gar makes, OMG 😂 It reminded me of my best friend, who was named Edgar, but he loved Megadeth, so I called him Gar; we usted to get together in my house and hang out, play videogames, get stoned, he would get drunk and I had the Arsenal of Megadeth DVD 📀, and we usted ti put it on and rock out to the songs all stoned out of our minds. And on this time mark, of that smile right there on 0:28 usted to crack him up 😂😂🤘🏻🤘🏻 I miss both Gar Samuelson as he was right there on the video, and I miss my friend Gar with ALL My heart 🥺 May you both rest in peace.. and I miss hanging out with by friend 😔

Thas the first thing I noticed is that smile. I have this bud from high school. He always tried to be like Dave ,not Jr.,but its funny , there's only 1 part he would play. You know the part in the RIP video where he dlips his head down to riff that kickass part. Thats all he would do. 🤣 Now he's wasted on crank these days. Rip to both Gars.

Mustaine wrote a ton of great stuff on his own but he always works best with the right musicians in the band. The rip lineup was pure gold and the music they created together will never be bettered. All props to Kiko but the chemistry between mustaine and friedman with menza and eleffson will never be replicated. Let's just enjoy the music while they're still around dude 🤘🤘🤘

@@DaveOJwhat did Ellefson exactly “join”? Because Mustaine wasn’t playing with anyone at the time. Mustaine and Junior decided to jam, and after that Megadeth was formed as a band. Dave already had the name and some songs but there was no band until Ellefson got in the picture.

No Ellefson actually knocked on Mustaine's door and asked where to get cigarettes and he told him and slammed the door. Then a minute later he knocked again asking where to get beer and they went on to get beers and hang out. The drugs were later.
