Louder snare, cleaner bass drum. Cleaner original guitar tone. But man. fuck this one sucks when it comes to Ellefson's bass. The original 85' version had a distinct and clear bass tone, the 2000's remaster had a stronger; more bass boosted tone which helped carry the rhythm in a better way (Chosen Ones specifically). The Final Kill: man there's basically no bass in this other than the small solo sections. you can hear it, but it's not distinct, nor powerful. It's muddy as hell and quiet. I have trouble picking between the two honestly

This remix and remaster is absolutely disgusting. I will NEVER listen to the original or the 2002 remix over this. This one sounds like 1985, but super clean and perfected. Gar's drums sound incredible, which I found lacking even on the 2002. Seriously, just give all the masters to Mark Lewis so he can do the others properly. This remix elevated Killing from bottom tier Megadeth ranking for me to top 5 albums for sure.
