I started tuning to C standard a long time ago. I always wondered what Megadeth would sound liked at C. This is close. Strangely, it sounds better at E.

I play Tornado of Souls in C# often. I love it!

I like it, but it's funny that it sounds softer than the original, even though it should sound harder when it's tuned down.

Yeah, some riffs feel very rock and roll ish in this tuning haha

Being lower doesn't always mean heavier. Thrash stays withing standard or half step tubing often bcuz it sounds more aggressive. Down tuning is better for slow doomier riffs. I think low tuning are good for metal that makes u think if stan ir doomy things and standard tuning is good for ultra high speed machine gun fire like thrash tones

that's because it's literally a flat version. play it on your guitar 3 frets back. there's a reason they chose this position to play the riffs. energetic & tight, faster paced, riffs aren't always heavier at a lower pitch.

Yo my man, this is some sick stuff your making dude! My brother and I LOVE Fade to Black and One in C tuning! As a bass player, thank you SO much for the bass in Blackened as well! My brother and I got one request man, can you do some Pantera tunes? And just an idea, you could make a discord to bring your fanbase together! These are just suggestions my man, keep making these sick tunes dude! 🤘
@JayTrain00 Жыл бұрын
Yo thanks for the comment man! I’ve actually thought about making a discord server, I didn’t really know if anyone wanted one but I’m probably gonna make a poll on it tonight. Also, I’ve actually already created Walk by Pantera in B Standard but haven’t gotten around to uploading it yet. I’ll make sure to do that soon! Thanks for your support dude! Comments like this are awesome!

i fuckin love d standard and c tunings, but the fetishization of super low tunings in metal is something that has turned it into a contrived genre. this aspect needs to die. also it's a lot less heavy in this tuning

The problem with with preserved quality and timbre is that you also preserve the quality and timbre of Dave's voice
