Honda has chops for days. I first heard him during Covid when Eric Miyashiro was putting out virtual big band videos from Tokyo. Those videos like that really helped me during that time.

Honda joined T-Square in 1991 replacing Takeshi Itoh (the other sax/EWI player in Anchors Shuffle) as frontman. Megalith was the first track on his first studio album with the band, New-S, and the contrast to what the band had been putting out before was dubbed ‘megalith shock’. Honda also helped DEZOLVE get on the map, playing on their 4th album and hosting/playing gigs with them a couple of times per year
