You know what’s really nice? Phoenix isn’t annoying. There’s a lot of yugitubers out there that make my ears bleed when they talk for more than 5 seconds whether it’s their sense of humor, their try-hard personality to entertain, and/or they’re just straight up annoying. He’s a real one.

When Benten Eventually gets hit, Any thoughts on a Vendread Engine? One of the Great things about Slayer/Battlelord is that there search effects can be for any RitSpell/RitMon, while dumping Vendread Names into the Gy. Vendread also has their FieldSp to Discard any Card to Search a VenMon; and their RitSpell Evolution Foolishes A Ven from deck to match Lvs{So, if you go into Battlelord from any Drytron, you can Foolish a Slayer, or just Battlelord send Battlelord, etc}, while also letting you Rit from Gy if you trib them from a Drytron effect ~As for Individual Mons: Battlelord can be used to Turn Off Hand Traps; Anima could be used at the End of your Combo to bring back a Banished VenRit; Their Link Savior can Let you re-add a VenFodder from the GY, but needs 2 Zombies or just reorigin; Chimera lets you neg a Destruction, but has an awkward Lv and Atk; and I'm not too big of a fan of Executor, but it gives your other cards protection from Targeting... ...because of it flexibility, its still one of my favorite archetypes, even tho I don't play as much as I used to

Great video! I love Dryton also. One thing I’ve noticed while playing it is that the draws can become redundant if you do it too often. Drawing 5 eventually leads you to drawing the same cards. Although that’s good for follow up it doesn’t make your current board better. Have you thought about adding in some hand traps in the lineup to be able to draw into those? Ash is still very good this format and can “save” a negate for herald.

It’s pretty cool imo A lot of builds are big combo plays but if you grind game mid range with shit like that in your deck (ice prison + strike combo ) I’m sure it will work well Just needa rest

You could cut 1 Phul. I did that recently and added I think a 2nd Gamma. 3rd Zeta would also be acceptable.

For the Megalith package I just run the one Phul, Ophiel, and Bethor. You usually can board Ultimateness too and push for gane turn 2.

You can equip the Drytron directly. But Union Carrier says you cannot summon it for the rest of the turn.

@@PhoenixFlareX It's a bit more vulnerable to hand traps but overall has a near perfect consistency and great power plays. I feel like Megaliths are a bit better overall but trickier to play.

Unfortunately that card is really good for what it is. So there is no direct replacement since it's also what make Fafnir good to play. I think the approach you'd need to take to play without Alpha would be playing Where Arf Thou and maybe even Jack in the Hand to be just more cards that get to Drytron names. Probably also necessary to play 2 of the ritual spell so that Fafnir can stay being really good in the deck.
