This song is over 5 years old at this point, but 17:26-18:11 is still my favorite section of any song, period. I've probably listened to it alone over 100 times and I still get chills from it, especially during the rising section from 17:33-17:36 and the licks at 17:45 and 17:54. All of the melodies are so satisfying and all over the place while still flowing together so well. Then the breaking point at 18:02 is such a huge release of energy that really feels like the killing blow to a giant beast. There are so many great sections in the song as a whole but that part is a whole different level entirely. Every single second of it is so masterfully made and I don't think I'm ever gonna get sick of hearing it. And the fact that it was made while just being meant as a difficult Clone Hero song is unbelievable to me.
@ghandrew143Ай бұрын
I get what you mean. I would describe the whole song as a long journey of beautiful sadness, and the ending really sends that feeling deep. I've been so addicted to playing this song on loop all day... something about chiptune music just pierces me right in the feels, more than any other genre.
@EelUnagi3 жыл бұрын
So as someone totally foreign to the clone hero scene I recently stumbled on a twitch clip from LSF of frif getting a "FC" of this song (I know it means a full combo now heh) - after reading through the thread I was pretty blown away by how much work your all's community puts into the game: stuff about different controllers being used for optimizing input lag, crazy. Kept digging down the rabbit hole and ended up here and am in awe at the community effort that went into making the song as well - I'd just assumed someone took a song that already existed and mapped notes to it to play on the game. But to find out it was actually a community project with a bunch of musicians contributing... Just wanted to stop by and say I've really enjoyed learning about your all's community these past few weeks, it's really something special how much passion and energy you all pour in. Typically that gets distilled to a 1 minute twitch clip that the masses consume, but as someone who dug a little deeper I just want to say how impressed I was. Very cool stuff. :)

Hard has *tapped* notes at hard tapping parts where Expert has *ho/po* notes, so on hard you don't have to (elbow) strum again if you miss a note, whereas on Expert you have to
@TheNewBruno694 жыл бұрын
I agree with both of them but i'm honestly thinking even that the hard chart is way more difficult than it should be on some cases. Hard is a difficulty for let you even understand and perform good on certain patterns with less frustration than expert, here outside of easier perform of the notes for all tap where on expert there are ho/po there is no really easy access for learn easier the pattern, the only real easier part is where outside of using the open notes they used an anchor green button, that's a way better example
@TheJoker.074 жыл бұрын
@@TheNewBruno69 yeah. I'm 5 minutes into the song and there are quite many patterns and sections that require a lot of skill to even pass them without failing miserably. It looks more like an Expert- chart tbh edit: 10 seconds later... man, this ain't hard. This is definitely expert-.
