What a really great commemoration for a really under appreciated gaming icon! I don't know whether its just me but whenver I play a side scrolling megaman game, I always find it takes a hell of a long time to get even remotely good. Maybe the games are just hard....or, alternatively and more likley, is that I ain't too great at them.

I know not a lot of people like Rockman Dash(MegaMan Legends) and MegaMan Battle Network, but I loved those games to death, and the music in them were so awesome. Especially MegaMan Battle Network. Loved the music so much.

the thing megaman has that many games today lack is the feeling of accomplishment when you complete it. lets face it. The megaman games are not a cake walk in the park.

1. You're right, new doesn't ALWAYS mean better 2. Sometimes, change is welcome (At least to me) 3. 3-D Sonic Game ROCK! 4. Remember, that the reviewers only get a "review copy" of the game, an edited version of the game they're reviewing. They don't get the full version like we do which makes us with the full version the "greatest reviewers of all" as we get the full experience unlike them. 5. Classics aren't always the best.

I honestly don't think he's gone for good. They will bring him back eventually. It's not the same but he was in Marvel vs Capcom1 & 2 and they used Zero in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 which is a big time favorite of mine.

That was the best megaman video ive ever seen. I miss the battle network series so much, it was my favorite T_T. Legends was good to, only i wish they could make a remake for the Wii, and i loved the megaman X series so much and i wished they wouldve put X7 and X8 in X collection, the only one i didnt see the battle chip challenge and megaman and bass. Damn those were good times and still are.But i really hate the people that say megaman needs to die.

The real MegaMan died for me after MegaMan 8 on the SNES... all those spin-offs (possibly with the exception of the Z and ZX series) only have the MegaMan name to it. Thank god we'll have MegaMan 9 as it should be!

Megaman Battle Network is over. Both versions of the 6th game in the series ended with all the main characters growing up and getting on with their lives. I was so saddened when i first played BN 6 (Falzar) but oh well.

Nostalgia... too much nostalgia! I can honestly say I loved every MegaMan series out there... and played them all (minus a few of the really old ones... I can't seem to find a copy anywhere!) But can someone please tell me WHY they haven't made a next-gen MegaMan? With the great graphics, revved gameplay, and epic storyline to portray over 3 games or more? I miss MegaMan in his prime... not when he was excluded to handhelds (though some are great!).

I liked 9 and 10, though I haven't played ZX. But come on guys, Megaman isn't dead yet. Remember that most of the big players in making Megaman left with Inafune, so it's very likely Capcom simply has no one to work on the games yet.
