She mostly just interrupts in X5; in X6 and onward, you have the option to ignore her for the most part, and in X8, you can go without a navigator all together.

Into video at 6:30. Have to make a correction about axl's copy chip. Axl's copy chip didn't come preloaded with DNA data. Thus he has his copy shot as a "scan" weapon to give him the information he needs on the target. given theories that cossack from mm4 created him, meaning that (if true) sigma's dna data had yet to exist anyways if cossack really made him. Either way axl only had the ability to copy DNA data. He doesn't come with it already.

You have really good points and they point to Wily's A.I. :)). Wily's A.I. made a body for Sigma to battle X and actually gave Zero a chance to rejoin before trying to destroy his own creation. Wily's A.I. was immune to the Sigma Virus so this shows Wily had anti virus tech. He also had a factory that Sigma was funding. Sigma couldn't take over Wily because he possessed tech for complete immunity as Wily's A.I. wanted to act on his own and not be controlled. So he created Axl as a "scout" to get good with X and Zero. Wily's A.I. dealing with Sigma explains why every chip contained Sigma's data because it was his invention. His plan is to use his A.I. to install into every creation. When they cover the earth, Wily hits the on switch like the "W" in Zero's gem and destroys X and Zero and take over the world. Wily never gets the credit he deserves. Wily is dangerous, and it shows enough to where megaman almost denied his programming to kill him in Megaman 7. If Wily's plans weren't so premature or tmi then he would take over. Wily is around and in the shadows. He's about to start Armageddon. Could you imagine an X game with the nostalgic Dr. Wily castle?..Nerd gasm!! Oh yea 1 more thing, the reason why the new reploids are going maverick is because Dr. Wily's A.I. is allowing Sigma to do so.

Maybe axl was made by dr.cossak? From mega man 4, he obviously was younger then wily or light, so he could've created axl maybe 20-30 years after X and zero were made

I don't think it's possible for Dr.Cossak to have created Axl, due to the specifics of his Copy-Chip. The copy chips contained the data of a large number of reploids, including Sigma, all of who were created after the discovery of X, and X was discovered over 100 years after he was sealed away because Light had died and wasn't there to wake him up when the internal test was complete (which would only have taken 30 years), so I doubt Cossak would have been able to live up to the point he would have had access to the resources that would have been required to create the Copy-Chip.

Yeah I won't deny, I would have loved to see Dr.Cossak or Kalinka have more of presence in the MMX series. To be honest, it's kind of strange that they -didn't-, given how competent of a roboticist he seemed to be, though to be fair, he never did really make a robot that could compare to Megaman, Protoman or Bass, so I guess that might be the reason

I've always thought about this theory. If there was a link to Cossack it could've been the idea to create a superior kind of Reploid (like X and Zero) but he couldn't have possibly finished creating him for obvious reasons. However, it is possible that Gate found some blueprints of that project thanks to the help of Ground Scaravich, and with those blueprints he started working and added the specs of the Proto-Copy Chip he designed afterwards, thus all 3 main Reploids in the X Series would be the legacy of the 3 greatest minds from Megaman Classic in a way.

Is it possible that a great descendant of Dr Cossack built Axl? Obviously the Doc himself was not involved but of the 3 doctors, he was the only one to have a biological child, Kalinka. It's not impossible that Kalinka had a family when she grew older. As to what became of that family and if Kalinka even had children of her own is unknown. All that said, it is a way to make the Cossack theory partially correct albeit the doctor himself is not directly responsible. Even then, it could be a mix of several theories woven together.

In fact perhaps Gate began Axl's construction, providing the base of Axl's design, but after his defeat someone discovered Axl and merely completed the other half of his work with resulting changes to Axl's architecture. Such a person could have been practically anyone, but a descendant of Dr Cossack would fit from a narrative stand point. The reasoning behind Dr Cossack's possible descendant finishing and even reverse engineering some of Gate's work that had been put into Axl is that it could have been due to a contract from the human government.

But because the story and dialogue is so misinterpreted and weird, due to mistranslation and obnoxious grammar, no one would've figured that out from the get-go... I am a MMX fan and I am good at finding the tiniest details that can actually prove drastic changes throughout the multiple dimensions of the MegaMan timeline(s); this little (huge really) discovery is something that would be part of those things which took years to find/ figure out...

Something of note: you're wrong saying Sigma doesn't create Reploids, since according to the lore Dark Necrobat was a Reploid he built 3 years before X5 but left. Still, good theory. Addressing Isoc/Wily and Weil/Omega sounds like a good theory

I assume that NG Reploids immunity to viruses are due to them being able to revert any forcible changes. Basically using backups to undo any damage. The problem, however, is what happens if the original backups included corrupted data in the first place? By sneaking his own corrupted DNA into the NG Reploids, Sigma would infect them before they even were born.

While I think it's less likely than Axl being developed by Gate, it is a very real possibility that Axl is indeed Gate reborn, and I find this to be a particularly interesting possibility if Alia is the one who remade him. It's quite interesting to think that she might have to feign ignorance of his origin or else risk both of their lives for the crime of resurrecting/resuscitating a Reploid that had been branded a Maverick, and she's secretly hiding the pain of withholding that information from him.

Twitch and I have already discussed this long ago. I find his theory of Axl simply being the product of advancement in Reploids technology to mundane, given how taken aback others where when they learned of his ability, but have respect for his theory just the same

It would make sense they both have similar abilities same color as bass and the tro in the classic series are megaman proto man and bass being the newest and proto man is the first made in megaman x series zero was created first because he was made in the classic series then megaman x then axl being the newest this can't a coincidence and bass and axl do what they want to do so I think that axl is a upgraded version of bass
