I played this game when i was a kid, it was strange to see the hero die so i though that i got an 'bad ending' so i tried to play again but faster to see if i would see an 'good ending' where zero lived, haha, good days.

I literally didn't accept it. I kept reassuring people that Zero was never confirmed dead. I think there is no more fitting death for him here though. He finally finds out who he is and what he's fighting for.

Post ending (if only): A glowing hologram appears next to the broken helmet. A shift in view, and it reveals the hologram is the image of Dr. Wily, looking down at the helmet with a somber expression. He looks up a moment and to his shoulder, a hand resting on it. Looking over, it's his old former friend and rival, Dr. Light. He offers a smile and a nod after a moment. Dr. Wily, his face for a moment turning to a frown, softens...and for the slightest of moments...becomes a look of content, nodding back. Looking back down at the helmet once more, the holograms fade into nothingness, the wind blowing slightly after.

Weil was defeated by Wily's last creation, Zero. Even though he researched everything about him, he couldn't understand who he is based on his experience and memories.

Though it isn't confirmed, there are some hints like Zero's Specs on one of the levels that lists his designation as "DW.N infinity" as in Doctor Wily Number series that was used for the Robot masters made by Dr. Wily to fight Megaman. Zero was apart of this series of robots, more notably the most advanced killing machine ever designed by the mad scientist. Though Wily was unable to control him due to Zero being too out of control at the time, hince sealing him away. Even though he was mostly forgotten about centuries later. Dr. Weil somehow found his life works & blueprints about Zero, & even manage to upgrade it to draw out its true power. Most notably using a Cyber-Elf program that is Omega installed into the original body to fulfill its intended purpose. Despite all the research into everything into Wily, he didn't take into account of what makes Wily who is or what his original intentions & passions were before being consumed by Jealousy.

In my personal opinion, megaman zero 4 is the perfect ending to the megaman franchise. Ciel makes a promise to Zero that there would finally be peace between humans and reploids, that is an allusion to the fact that peace was finally achieved in the future, and we witness the farewell of one of the most legendary heroes of the saga. What more could you ask for. It's a pity that the story was continued in zx (not even having an ending), although both zx games are good in terms of gameplay (no one disputes that), for me both stories are very uninteresting, also remaining unfinished. Stop me zero 4 is and always will be the end of this spectacular franchise ❤️

As zero said, he never cared about being a hero or doing justice, he always fought por people he believe in, i like to think that for him, laws, being maverick never mattered at all for him. He faced weil and destroyed him, because of the promise he made to X and to protect the world Ciel wanted to make a better place. It was not for justice, it was no heroism, it was a personal but somehow altruistic resolve.

Best Einherjar battles: 1. Heat Genblem (Coolest attacks of all the Mutos Reploids, moves pretty fast considering it's a turtle, and he's basically Gamera turned into a reploid, would've wished his head was the only weakpoint to make the battle more of a challenge). 2. Tech Kraken (Basically the runner up, while not fast when moving around, his technique's speed is good and covers a lot of space which give difficulty when evading, could've been first if his laser technique lasted long enough and his tentacle whip technique was more accurate). 3. Sol Titanium (Her techniques are cool, fast and accurate. The heat hazard around the room gives a bit of a challenge if you're slow, Would've wished if she moved immediately after landing an attack). 4. Popla Cocapetri (While this cocky bastard is a joke and the main victim of Zero's bullying, he's no pushover, his techniques are fast and covers a lot of space, could've been no. 2 if the moving platforms were fast enough to make it more difficult to evade his attacks). 5. Noble Mandrago (Pretty good techniques. She would be faster... If only her grenade attack didn't leave her wide open, but decent fight nonetheless). 6. Fenri Lunaedge (Show-off no. 1, while his techniques are cool, he's so predictable when landing an attack or moving around the room, at least his attacks cover space). 7. Pegasolta Eclair (Show-off no. 2. Cool attacks, but mediocre speed and his technique's accuracy is horrible, making it SO easy to attack him, doesn't matter if you're away or close). 8. Mino Magnus (Seriously the worst of all eight, he sucks more at fighting than speaking, and while his techniques deal good damage, they leave him wide open to slice the heck out of him to whatever fillet you'd like to taste).
