Megami Device AUV Susanowo - Kotobukiya UNBOXING and Review!

I bought this at a local store just last week. They only had one and it was $110. It will be my first mecha musume kit, my first non-Gunpla, my first Kotobukiya kit, my most expensive model kit so far, and probably at least a couple other firsts. Very excited to build it.

I guarantee you will love building and posing her plus if you have the extra money to spend you can try hunting down some resin parts for her that third party's have made to make her even better.

This kit is a great choice for your first mecha musume. Its one of the best in the Megami Device line. When you are building the kit I recommend to sand any ball joints down a little bit so they aren't too tight, these are different from gunpla which primarily use polycaps and peg joints.

Just dropped in to give a like and say that Susano'o is the best girlpla kit I've ever built- and I've built a *lot* of them. I haven't finished her up with waterslides and a topcoat, but she still looks amazing. I can't wait for the blue version to come out, so I can blow more money.

Even until now, this kit is so hard to find and if by any chance you find one it will pricey as frick! Nidy's design combined with the new mold of "Megami Device" really makes it interesting for a lot of people

I can vouch that this kit is tons of fun playability and combinations. Just be careful in moving the clear red pieces even transforming the sword and claws. And you'll be set. Truly, my Queen.

"Only" problem is that you'd need to have at least two. One in it's Original form and one Brutal.

This is not an easy kit to get hold of, I think all the import sites ran out of preorders with in a few hours. The reissue planned for June and the variant coming in January are all pre sold out as well. Not a big musume fan but this is one of the few that I really like the design of.

She'll be perfect for a Eula Lawrence custom, I clearly see it. Hair, custom Greatsword and all! 😍😍 Anyways, her design has so many menacing skulls, both thighs and her gauntlet. Cool circular Susanoo form too.

Hoping for a lightly armored or girl only version to be released which might actually happen since Susanowo seems to be super popular like Asra. I like the design of the girl and Nidy 2D's art style in general, but the armor looks a little visually cluttered to me. Just my personal preference; I know the "lots of very detailed stuff" look appeals to many model builders.

I don't normally buy two kits of the exact same part or variations of the same kit. Susanowo? I bought her, built her, liked the overall presentation, PO'd the Blue Flame version coming next year. It's all perfection.

These are great! So for a new person to gunpla but I do warhammer models all the time, what "girlpla" line do you recommend?

The auv susanowo and souen are both good starts especially the souen. It's almost like building a bandai kit since almost all joints fits in well. I barely sanded any joints. You can try the asra series as well but just sand some of the joints as it'll break if its too stiff. If it's too loose then you might need to use a nail polish or a glue. That's it. All in all, just get what design appeals to you most and watch a review of it to see its weak points. But you can never go wrong with the susanowo

I’m so happy my regular go to store just got this in stock for retail price at Sugotoys Instant buy and I’m not that much a big fan of Kawaii kits But this kit looks Sick I’ll prob most likely make some Ripped Up cloth/caps to go around her Revealing parts lol 😅

You should know that the "W" in the name is silent. The characters "wo" and "o" are pronounced the same in Japanese but the orthographical difference is retained for historical reasons. The character takes its name from Susanoo-no-Mikoto, a deity in Japanese mythology
