Megami Ibunroku Persona PC: Gameplay (2)

This is a gameplay video of the PC Port of Megami Ibunroku Persona, Also known as Revelations: Persona in the US.
The PC Version of Persona 1 is a weird case. Until 2020 with the release of Persona 4 Golden, This was the only mainline Persona game to ever get a PC Port, and even then, it was only released in Japan. This port was released in 1999, Three Years after it's original release on the Sony PlayStation.
This Port is based off of the Japanese PlayStation Version, so everything from that version (Enemy encounter rate isn't lowered down, You don't get more EXP, Snow Queen Quest is there and can be activated like normal, and other things) applies in this Port.
And that being said, here are the changes to this port:
- Most of the music does not loop. This is mostly seen with the Battle Theme ending and then starting over again after a few seconds.
- Few of the Music tracks play much faster than in the PS Version. Although I can confirm it with the School Infimary Theme, It's unknown if any other music tracks got the same treatment.
- Battles go a lot faster. Although not in the same speed as the PlayStation Portable Version, It's better than the PS Version in that regard.
- Faster Loading times (If the game is installed via 'Full Install').
- FMVs got a drop down in terms of quality. This Problem also appeared in the 1998 PC Version of Final Fantasy VII, and I could think PCs at the time didn't have enough power to handle the FMVs in their original form in terms of colors and quality, so they are toned down in appearance.
- No effects when entering Battles/Dungeons. Since PCs at the time couldn't handle/can't do the effects that the PlayStation hardware can do, These were removed.
- If this version is played on a Windows 10 Laptop, There will be some Texture Glitches on battles when choosing commands. Most likely a compatibility issue.
- World Map looks a little bit different and you can't see that far unlike in the PS Version. It's even weirder than the latter version, and a pain to travel through.
This is played on a Windows 10 Laptop and running the game from there. No virtual machine is used.

@@Rimalogo the psp port messed up alot of the sfx and battle graphics,plus the patch doesn't have all the music sadly

How did you get this and install this? I've been looking everywhere for this game and a way to install it but the only site I found no longer had it because they put a link for the PS classic

@@LeonlonglegsThe game is working by just launching the EXE, although you can't save. Oh, and since you might play the PC Version too, I am hoping I can see a Full Playthrough of that version going through all two routes and all endings in each.

@@raffine52lavigne78 That's so weird cause I unzipped the ZIP drive and it only showed a singular file and cause of that I dunno how to get it working. It's why I'm so dead set on finding a physical version, I'm trying to get a way to reverse engineer it and then get a launcher working and a proper installer so I can maybe share it around with some people and then get a small team of translators so we can all make it so the original version of the game can finally be played in English. Cause the PSP version has the new soundtrack, the new cutscenes and missing a lot of style from the PS1 version. I wanna fix the PC version somehow and all the stuff I mentioned. But I'd need to get it working first on modern PC's to even do any of that
