Hohoh! Its really nice to hear why you love Jack Bros so much! Huh, I never thought that there was somewhat of a history regarding the american box art for the game. Though I myself prefer the japanese box art with that cute chibi artstyle that fits the game's light-hearted tone alot more. I actually kinda wish that there were more games with that artstyle.

I have actually beaten Jack Bros. with Jack Ripper (only with him, actually). He's the fastest and strongest, and the fact that his attack it's melee it's compensated by the fact that he can kill most enemies by mere contant; just draw your knife and walk toward the enemy. He will actually bounce off Cu Chulainn 's shield without taking damage.

I enjoy Jack Bros and used Jack Frost to beat the game. The timer always gets me to start over every single time especially in the boss fight. Do SMT Imagine trivia? Lol you do not have to. >.

Jack Bros was the first Megaten game I ever heard of because I used to love Nintendo trivia, I gotta play it someday.

There's a few! I used red dragon and vbjin and both work great
