Of all the things wrong about this, I just now realized that Megamind should really have made himself a new "Superhero" outfit to replace his spiked evil villain outfit. I have no idea what sort of superhero costume he would wear, but we all know he would want to make one. He could announce his intent to become a superhero, obsess over getting the costume and stuff 'just right', and then the Doom Syndicate or whatever show up wanting to take over as the city's new Supervillains now that they've heard Megamind "went hero". If Megamind has any real weakness for the Doom Syndicate to exploit, it could be that he would be trying to imitate Metro Man's way of doing super heroics instead of using his own strengths. He could take them all out instantly if he was just aiming to be a better villain than them, but since he's trying to be a hero imitating Metro Man then he wouldn't be playing to his strengths and once he learns to be his own type of hero instead of imitating Metro Man then he could go all-out and beat them.

As well as it would be random having other supernatural creatures like that fire blob when megamind and metroman were supposedly the only ones from another planet. What I mean is, no matter the reason, they were cut for a good one. And bringing them back basically means that they don’t respect the original decisions.
