It's very weird and rude to do that to real people but this is a fictional character. And in a lot of cases, even if creators wanted a character to be queer they weren't allowed to do it. So instead they put in hints for it instead, ones that often wouldn't read as lgbt at a glance. Now you may be correct that he is straight. But I don't really see the problem in theorizing or making headcanons for otherwise unless a creator comes out and confirms it themselves.
