13:33 i believe the play here was concerted strike on nami, make him deny it, then kayn's shadowstep on the 2/1 for lethal, since kayn had 6 attack and overwhelm

He partly adressed that in the video. The opponent played Ionian Tellstones (which are later played even). And since Kayn's Shadowstop is slow, the opponent could have attacked with the 2/1 in between, not only removing it as a possible target, but also gaining an additional 2 life or, more likely, 4 life, since the leveled Nami would have buffed that unit next. So your plan MIGHT have worked if the opponent didn't attack AND didn't have the tellstones or any other playable spell, but the chances of that were pretty slim.

Last night I remembered one of my meme deck, and I thought I should recreate it with the new cards, and IMO it seems pretty OP so far. The original idea was encroaching shadows with attached creaures, as they get empowered, but they will be not ephemeral. The issue was with this deck, that not many non-ephemeral card could be created as a host for the attached cards, bc of the lack of summoning cards (only yordle portal was viable, and hungry owlcats, but they were too slow). But now, mysterious portal came, and I think it solved the issue, as you can get now instantly non-ephemeral cards, and u can play the empowered attachment immediately. I think it's pretty fun, and as I see no one made this kind of deck yet. Maybe viable, maybe not. @@randomname8616 the deck idea was encroaching mist on attach units. The portals are just another way to summon, doesnt change the fundamental deck idea. What i meant is that he did an enroaching mist attach units deck with summons.

Mogwai, I know Shadow Assassin Kayn is nowhere as good as Rhaast but it would be really cool to see a deck based around Shadow level up because it's my favorite form in League of Legends itself. Could you maybe make a deck built around Shadow's playstyle?

it's funny to see this. I made a Jarvan/Kayn when the patch lauched, but i felt that demacia has few equip support right now. Maybe Xin Zhao is coming next to give demacia some equip relevance, since it's the region that fight with weapons and not magic?

Blue Kayn is literary just the elusive challenger in ionia except it can ramp meanwhile rhaast just keeps getting bigger needs hard removal like vengeance since he fully heal after killing a unit so you can't chip him down and heal your nexus 2 when he kills a unit

So long story short I wanted to find an original gp deck since he is very unrepresented since being kicked out of pirate agro, so here goes: I'm running gp/zilean rn. It's not working super well (it's not bad though) but that's because i suck at deckbuilding. A good player could use the idea to turn it into something cool. So here goes: The deck is based around tidal wave. You use zilean package to predict into your crashing/colosal waves. You use powder kegs to make your crashing waves hit HARD leading to devistating board wipes. Let's not forget that leveld up zil can copy the cards you play, leading to 2 crashing/colosal waves being shufled into your deck instead of 1. I'm sure you all get the synergy of gp and zils' time bombs. Run 2 copies of careful preparation. (I know it's zils' signature spell but I think it is crucial) and then some tools to level up gp and not run out of steam (salvage for example).

Mogwai try removing Durand protege and adding 3x of Vanguard redeemer solves a lot of the running out of gas issues your deck faces I added it to mine and the deck feels 10x better

Is anoyne else experiencing a lot of bugs with Kayn? I'm not sure if it's only Path of Champions or also in PvP (cause I don't play PvP that often), but sometimes you just don't transform. Or you have no option but Blue Kayn. Edit: It happens everytime I want to summon leveld up Kayn while there are husks on the board. They go into him and then the transformation doesn't happen. Anyone else having same issue?

Homecoming ABSOLUTELY need to be nerfed. When it was designed, Riot (and a lot of players) thought it was just an inferior Will of Ionia because it required an ally on the board to use, would set you back by forcing you to re-play whichever ally you bounced to enable it, and it could be disrupted by killing the friendly. What everyone failed to realise is that it's actually a massively SUPERIOR Will of Ionia, because what it's doing is not only negating an enemy but _protecting an ally,_ meaning it does twice as much in combat situations as Will does. Ever notice that absolutely nobody plays Will any more, despite it once being considered one of the defining cards in Ionia? The fact that Homecoming is available in Ionian Tellstones only makes matters even worse. The card is busted as SHIT.

To be fair, Will is still a valid option if you're not playing (many) low cost units that you want to protect/recall. I think Majin Bea played it in a Viktor Lee Sin deck recently. At the time of homecoming's release we also did not have cards like droplet and Kennen yet (it was still a solid alternative to will already, but it did become better over time).
