Not exactly the best interviewer, but Megan Follows is ALWAYS pure class. She answers the questions in such an eloquent and intellectual manner, which of course is because she is an intellectual, but also she knows the Anne Shirley character like the back of her hand. I absolutely love watching her in every interview, show and movie she does. To me Megan will forever be Anne Shirley, regardless of the future roles she plays. 😊

The interviewer was disappointing with both Megan and Jonathan and sticking so much to repetitive scripted questions with no intuitive follow up or attempt to build rapport. Would have loved Megan to have been asked about working with wonderful Jonathan again, though they touched on the character of Jack (played with great charm by Australia's own Cameron Daddo). What strikes me here is not only Megan's eloquence and good humour (and diplomacy!!) but her fantastic knowledge and understanding of the character of Anne and her defense of who she is and what she has meant to so many.

Rilla of Ingleside was one of the most difficult yet enlightening books I ever read. The reality of WW1 on the home front was starkly woven into Anne’s story by Lucy Maud Montgomery. And the elements of that book that Kevin wove into this film, re-engineered by a variety of necessities, were very interesting.

Between Megan Follows & Amybeth McNulty, Megan follows did a better job to me. But, Amybeth McNulty brought something special to the character Anne too. Both of them brought out her imagination, her spirit and her resilience. McNulty brought out the impacts of her trauma more, Follows brought out her imagination & love of kindred spirits and poetry more

Visually, she was almost like a red headed Christina Applegate in the first two films (Green Gables and Avonlea). You can't take away the attractiveness importance when it comes to young men watching these first two films. It's possibly even more important than the musical score which really polished the film(s) to another level of experience. The storyboard was already great... her physical beauty and dramatic acting and film score took it all to a different level.

Megan the actress, adorable in childhood/adolescence, here disturbs me, she is still young, around 30, but she has something strange in her face, as if she had the seriousness of old women engraved, and yet, she is not old. Perhaps, at the time of filming, she was going through something difficult in her personal life.. But this radiance of Anne, she no longer has it.. t's a bit of a shame, it's like another woman and at the same time the same... Strange...
