The video for this version is best ignored because it wasn't made to fit the remix. Courtney said this was put together relatively quickly and it was Meg who decided Courtney should sing on way more of the track. Originally, that chorus was just at the end of the song but Meg smartly recognized Courtney should be used in more of the remix.

This is what I dig about Spiritbox too. Their sound is broader than prog/metalcore. I'll be checking out the original for sure. (I'll let you know about Megan's butt 😛)
