it's important to know the very serious context of this song. Megan Thee Stallion is a multi-grammy award-winning female rapper from Texas. her father died when she was a teenager, her mother died in 2020 and her grandmother a few months later. In 2020, Canadian rapper Tory Lanez fired five gunshots at Megan thee stallion. She was shot in the foot, Tory and the entire world, and the music industry mocked Megan and called her a liar. Tory Lanez is in jail for this. in this song she addresses her wanting to unalive herself and the fact that while she was going through a public trial, she was being dehumanized and slutshamed, her boyfriend Pardi (writer and rapper) cheated on her in their bed. Megan is newly independent after her former label 1501 treated her horribly and even sided with Tory Lanez. She's been through so much so this song, more the original, means so much.

This visualizer really sucks compared to the original "Cobra" music video. The song is amazing. I've always loved Metal & hip-hop collabs from all the way back in the 90s with Body Count and the Judgment Night soundtrack. Really happy for Spiritbox to get featured and visibility for this. I kinda like the original version only a little bit more just because it's cleaner though.
