Megane 2 - Bluetooth phone remote (open, close, start/stop engine)

The Blue-R system was designed as a backup for car keycard (the phone is most of the time at your fingertips).
With this system you can:
- unlock and lock the car doors;
- start the engine (even with locked doors);
- stop the engine (after a shutdown, a door lock command will be given);
It may be useful if:
- you are on vacation and you lose or damage the keycard;
- you need something from your car or even leave with your car and you
don't have the keycard at you;
- a family member needs access to the car and you are gone with the car
keycard;
- you want to start the car engine a few minutes before you get inside and leave;
- and so on...

The phone app is created by me and communicate with a module installed in the car. This module uses a modified keycard, written on the car, and being active and functional only when is ordered by the phone app.

Like I said before: "Phone App and module are custom made, by me...for my car. There aren't on sale... for now." The phone app is pairing automatically with the module with a unique MAC address (via Bluetooth), so if you have the app, it's unusable. I think I'll build, in a few months, some similar kits (module and application) to sell it.

I live in Ireland, would it be possible for me to porches the application and the in car dongle, it would be a big help because at the moment I'm having a lot of trouble with my card not being read by the card reader if this was worked from what I thought you said, is that you put a dongle into the diagnostic port and then download the app is this correct as to how it works and if so what can I do to go about purchasing the whole setup I sound this is why you done it hope to hear from you soon,

Lovely job, what's the point with Bluetooth since the range is so short, just for opening the car it's easier to press the keycard than open your phone etc, I'm not trolling or being negative, it just seems that if you're trying to warm your car in the garage that you wouldn't be able to do it from the main house, Bluetooth just doesn't have range

The utility of the system occurs when you are away from home (on vacation) and you lose your key-card, or when you do not have the key-card and you need something from your car and you are not in the mood to go in home for it. Another utility is to start the car when it's cold until you get out of the house. The phone is always handy.
