I am 40 years old so I was very young when my mom was watching this but we had 1 tv in the house so I had to watch whatever she watched so I grew up on watching Soaps. All My Children One LIfe to LIve and General Hospital from 12-3 and I can still remember these episodes which is so crazy how memory works. Even when I got to be a teen and we got another tv guess where I was watching the soaps because I was invested. During school my mom use to record them for me on a VHS so I could watch them when I got home from school during the school year.

This storyline brought back so many memories i remember that Megan had Lupus which is a serious form of Arthritis that attacks the immune system...I loved her character so much that I named my one daughter after her...i actually cried when she died.

How about when Jake goes out into the courtyard and sits on that bench and there’s that one small little Charlie Brown looking tree and just one Single heart left on the tree that he had put money on for Valentine’s Day and it just blew away and her heart monitor just one flat so gut wrenching 💔

I love how when he Said " she's doesn't know ur hear " viki said " I know I'm here " poor Jake took some dumb job a week after his wedding b/c he desperately wanted to support her. ( couodnt Asa give him a job or the banner as an investigative reporter ?? He tried so hard to be a p.i. but hid only gig the poor pregnant tina hired him & she never payed him !😊

I never understood why Marty didn’t die from lupus she drink heavy, Megan took her condition seriously

I think cause Megan was only born w/ one kidney & somehow nobody knew until she got sick & her kidney failed & the transplant failed. I'm guessing Marty had 2 kidneys. Maybe that's why. Plus I recall Larry saying Marty always knew she had lupus & her family took care of it & Marty for the most part did that's how she met Megan of course. I recall Larry saying Megan had ignored certain symptoms & didn't go to the Dr to check on them. This was something he said to Shelia after Megan died when discussing Marty who actually did start drinking again in 95 & wound up in the hospital.
