Should You Pay for Your Clients Hosting Account?

Hi, so if I understand your process correctly, you have the Divi account for ~$250 per year and then you have the siteground account for ~$360 per year. Your clients buy their domain and hosting, which is probably a savings for them since they only need 1 site most likely. Question: do you recommend they get their domain and hosting from the same place?

yes, with regard to WordPress, they have migration plugins or maybe your client's host can handle it. I'm just starting out too, and hyper-focusing on all this stuff. My strategy at this point is to create a subdomain for each client and then transfer the final product upon acceptance and final payment.

Use localwp. Build locally on your hardrive. Then "migrate all in one" is one of the plugins that can be used to transfer it online.

Hi Megan ! Great content just subscribed came across your channel was looking for a hosting and do a website. On siteground what plan did you go for? And do the use ssd or nvm for storage. Thinking of getting site ground and taking your course. . Also in your course do you go over siteground?

Hi!! Thank you so much! I do go over siteground in my course and why I use that for hosting. I usually get the middle plan on siteground which allows for unlimited website installations! Let me know if you have any other questions!

@@angelanguiano4338 I actually added a new lesson to my course with a full figma walkthrough. I use figma mainly but still like Adobe xd! I get my domains from google domains and point to my site on siteground
