Awesome video, loved the editing for easier understanding and really agreeing that cropping doesn't destroy our photos

@@ricardobph cheers mate, I really feel like it’s being pushed so hard because what other reason would we have to spend money on new cameras

In strict terms of absolute resolution, doubling the megapixels will only increase resolution by about 12.5% at best (in purely mathematical terms). It's hard to see the difference between 18mp and 24mp; just as hard to see the difference between 24mp and 30mp; but the difference between 18mp and 30mp is noticeable in 5' diagonal prints if you get closer than 2.5'. That said, 24mp is more than sufficient resolution for all but a few profrssional applications. Too much resolution will make portrait customers send you hate mail.

16 works for me, 24 is storage intensive....

Its a lot easier for youtubers that get sent loads of free SSD's to recommend 60+mp sensors. Unfortunately a lot of them tend to lose touch with the average camera user

Can you do another similar video of this for 1080p vs 4k, is 4k necessary for your personal everyday memories videos? And 60fps or 30fps for that kind of video better?
