Must say that you have been pretty lucky with the design of your Flip 5. Mine (also Flip 5) has a completely different interior design with the battery cable mounted in the center of the circuit board adn all kinds of tiny wires attached which makes it imporsible to move the circuitboard without damaging the speaker electronics....

Just picked mine up in December as a gift for someone, a few months later, LED battery charge level light doesn’t illuminate, no lights work, doesn’t hold a charge 🙃never had issues with the older JBL models. Maybe accept the pulse series

Hi, getting a little warm while charging is normal. But it should definitely not be hot. In that case something is wrong and I would disconnect it from the charger.

@@ThepDenNgoaiBienIf a battery would be made in the US such as the one in jbl flip 6, it would literally cost +100 dollars. Would you really pay +100 dollars for a 17wh battery? They even used a 3.6V cell, decreasing charge cycles and lowering conversion efficiency(Pretty smart tbh from them to make it seem like a big battery). Nothing is made in any other country than China.

Especially when the speaker is around 4 years old or more. That plastic will be very brittle and will break when you try to pry open the tabs.
