Hey....you guys do know these are actors on a scripted TV show right? I get things like this happen IRL but to say you 'hate' a fictional character is a bit much. Especially when there is soooooo much hate in the world already. I've been watching corrie for 35 plus years & I am still able to separate truth from fiction. Actors from reality. I recall reading a post once where someone said, 'Blanche & Deirdre are finally together in heaven' & the poster was utterly convinced they were actual mother & daughter. A testament to the writers but a frightening peak at how utterly gullible some folks are when it comes to this show. Yes, this storyline is providing a good glimpse of what parents & families go through in situations like this but everyone needs to remember that it's all just a bunch of highly paid actors that are not married to each other, not related & not the parents to this 'fictional' child. Keep one foot in the real world folks. This is how the US got Trump & this is how hundreds of thousands people have died from covid worldwide. Corrie is entertainment & it's very important to remember that. Just sayin'.....

Way to get on a soapbox and make yourself feel superior I have been watching Corrie much longer than 35 yrs and I myself are quite able to sepaerate fiction from reality tyvm I have seen what the Nick CHARACTER has pulled through the years just like I have Sarah Louise, Maria, David, and even Mike Baldwin and Stanley Ogden These CHARACTERS can make you love them or hate them Simple as that PS sorry the Orange menace lost NOT!

Because she's a loving mother losing her little boy, it's beyond difficult to let a child go like this.

It would have been so much better if they'd had Nick and Leanne lean on each other instead of this breaking them apart.

I understand Leanne, a mother fights tooth and nail for the children ... But sometimes the right thing for a mother is not the right thing for the children. Oliver, everyone told you the same thing. It's not fair but it's the right thing to do to let it go. Continuing in this way prolongs the suffering of both. The nature of things is cruel, a mother should not bury her child, we reason with a clear mind, those around her think with a clear mind, unfortunately she cannot think with a clear mind ... Emotionally she is too close to her son. As much as other people love Oliver, they haven't carried him for 9 months in their wombs ... that's why they're clearheaded and put things in perspective. After all, Leanna had an unprotected relationship with Steve, married at the time and who had just lost a child with his wife. I'm sorry but I don't feel sorry for Leanna ...

At least Leanne had a chance to spend at least 3 years with her son and carried him for the full term! Michelle was only pregnant for 6 months and Rauiri was stillborn

i used too really like leanne but since this storyline she's just become really annoying and selfish. denying steve the chance too spend precious time at oliver's bedside after she made a pass at him, accusing nick of loving and putting his son first. nick has a responsibility now and his son does have too come first bc let's face it ollie is basically dead he will never recover and he isn't nick's son. she's accusing nick like he cares more about sam than ollie what would she prefer if he never saw sam again? if he broke sam's heart and abandoned him too be with leanne and ollie?? i know she's heartbroken but she really needs too pipe down and just accept that her son isn't gonna get better
