For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace. I love that Hans Zimmer reused part of the Pirates soundtrack(namely "He's a Pirate") from his work in Gladiator. A couple of the parts are identical. I realized while I was watching Gladiator and was like "wait, is this Pirates of the Carribean?"

My bro and I thought it had Gladiator vibes too (Klaus Badelt worked on Gladiator with Zimmer), but my mom thought she heard music from "The Rock" (which I'd blast around the house). That's true too (sort of like the Navy Seals theme). Then I was listening to "Asteroid Chase" (v=O6VnsUxtYyA) from Armageddon (produced by Zimmer), and heard the Pirates theme! Must be hard to put out dozens of movies a year and avoid accidentally retreading the same tunes! Especially when you get involved in the 11th hour when the previous composer was let go!

Visuals take the story to our eyes, Hans Zimmer music takes the story to our heart, mind and soul.... That's how Hans Zimmer shows his impact in every movie he works...

Hanz Zimmer is my favorite composer. He manages to capture the imperfect intonations of reality, and blend them with time proven arrangements.
