I think Hans could play a ancient harp perfectly with his toes. Eyes shut.

They tease the main theme so hard at the end of the first third…when it finally hits at the climax I couldn’t help but smile and tear up. It is indescribable how good this is.

When the duo violinists join Tina during One Day, it brings absolute chills to my spine how beautiful the music is. Seeing this experience live is a goal of mine in life.

Просто посмотрите, как каждый из музыкантов наслаждается работой, особенно Ханс. Сразу видно, с каким наслаждением он создаёт свою музыку

I love that Hans Zimmer reused part of the Pirates soundtrack(namely "He's a Pirate") from his work in Gladiator. A couple of the parts are identical. I realized while I was watching Gladiator and was like "wait, is this Pirates of the Carribean?"
@JohnDoeHZ2 жыл бұрын
My bro and I thought it had Gladiator vibes too (Klaus Badelt worked on Gladiator with Zimmer), but my mom thought she heard music from "The Rock" (which I'd blast around the house). That's true too (sort of like the Navy Seals theme). Then I was listening to "Asteroid Chase" (v=O6VnsUxtYyA) from Armageddon (produced by Zimmer), and heard the Pirates theme! Must be hard to put out dozens of movies a year and avoid accidentally retreading the same tunes! Especially when you get involved in the 11th hour when the previous composer was let go!

As an orchestra percussionist, learning the music was always easy, it was not being distracted by the talent around you and remembering I need to contribute to this not just take it in. This man’s a genius and I hope his work is celebrated for generations

As a percussionist I've never been so offended but something that I so much agree with 😅 except when it comes to multi mallet percussion. Playing marimba with 4 mallets is easy enough when you've practiced a lot of 6 mallets is really hard

Hans is a genius - no question about it! and until Pirates.... there was a pretty gaping hole in that genre of film. No one really knew "what pirate music sounds like". Hans fixed that. THIS is what we associate with pirates now - to all of us. Imagine stamping your mark on an entire generic universe of fiction!!??

Just one word: Symphony, the way all those instruments become together as a whole is truly magical. The remarkable use of modern technology and classical instruments to produce this magical. Hans zimmer is a wizard. confirmed
