I'm a Taiwanese soldier, this song hits me very different now that my country is on the edge of going to war with China. I watched Gladiator when I was little, didn't understand much of the movie. Now that I have a family and my own home, I know why Maximus did what he did. It's not an easy decision, but not defending for my country is far worse than being rule by CCP. I love Chinese people but hate their government. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling this way, it seems like a complete global war is inevitable afterall. I pray that this war doesn't come. If it does, let all the weeds get burn off, so that we can start a new world with unity.

i am retired welsh guards . these musicians are the best trained in the world . i had the honour to spend 1 month in the old deal school of music back in the 80s . far better trained than kneller hall .
