I guess they did the best they could given that both (Quake and Slipstream) are retools. The Skullgrin model worked fine for the troop builder set, but doesn’t quite have enough definitive details for Quake. Would have loved to see a new mold and then later retool that into another Decepticon tank down the road (Bomburst, Brawl, etc.)

Honestly I'd love a third party to make an in-scale gun-alt-mode Megatron to go with SS86 Optimus Prime, with an alt damage face/chest piece. That would make my year. Just give it a simple, G1-esque transformation that is nowhere near the nightmare-inducing MP-36 level of complexity.

a major retool of wfc Siege impactor would have been my first chois. this tank mode has too many layers, the treads shot be closer to the turret BUT there is an extra layer in-between. like a TANK SANDWICH

The movie statues are done very well. I wouldnt be surprised if Universal scrapped the current dated Transformers ride at Universal and retool it to be a Transformers One ride.

Definitely looking forward to Straxus and new Rock Lords. A mining robot and rock robots that attach to other robots go together like PBJ. I hope to find the older Japanese Straxus that was part of a combiner later on too.

I own both Pangu toys Loki and Cyclonus, it's such a sick mold I think I am gonna go for three. Btw they are £25 ish it's fair price for a 3rd party tall deluxe.

Quake - shouldn't have been a remold. His arms should fold back into the turret, and it should swivel. They can absolutely do this, and have the legs swing around to form the treads. No need for remolding here.

You know what time it is, Titan Timestamps incoming: *NEWS* 2:40 That's a great idea to get merch signed, I just wonder how they go about insuring the shipping before I send a high-value item. Also do we have word about either of these stars being at the next TF Cons yet? *JUST ANNOUNCED* 4:20 I think I'm still getting used to the concept of an underground Cybertron civilization but the setting in that landscape poster looks very interesting. The Prime vs. Megs shot looks awesome, and I wonder if he has the small back cannon we always see on his right arm this time... 7:08 That Bumblebee statue looks like the Evergreen design, of which I've never really been a fan. Those statues are HUGE though, look at the guy standing next to it who doesn't even come up to Bee's toes! 9:12 I'm going to try to be nice on these next few retools but no promises. This Quake is interesting enough for me to want to pick up but the Skullgrin mold is not the best choice for a base, the alt mode looks like Budget Warpath, and those Targetmasters are not good at all without articulation of some sort. Soft pass/Ross pickup only... 14:42 I'm SOOOO disappointed Hasbro refuses to give good representations of Slipstream (and Windblade too for that matter). She is supposed to be a Starscream clone with VTOLS and you had the ER Thrust mold just sitting there collecting dust. The Windblade mold is fine and looks good with stickers on the original character, but this is a hard pass for me unless I get an extra Windblade head to swap somehow... 17:55 Nope, I hate it even more now. That toy looks nothing like the Cyberverse or Animated versions of Slipstream, which is where most fans know her from. If they weren't going to fix the ports on her arms they could have left out the null rays and given her forearm missiles like some of her other depictions. You can tell we're at the end of a wave by how hard Hasbro is cheaping out on these figures, and them admitting we deserved a Voyager of this just hurts a little bit extra... 24:30 This crown not only looks amazing on this Screamer, it's pretty accurate to the show even though it seems oversized. In the climax of Cybertron, Starscream fights Primus wearing this crown, it's a pretty epic (and funny) battle... 26:05 Wait, Bobby where did you get the octopus!?!?!?!? I need ALL of that, time to get that 3D printer for real lol... 27:29 "I would've waited an eternity for this!!!" YES YES YES! All three preordered!!! I love Dr. Wu's quality and feel too, it's no wonder Hasbro got out the Legends scale game lol... *UPDATES* 37:45 I'm hoping this 4-pack shows up on clearance somewhere to get this Cliff. We haven't heard anything about the guest at Baltimore yet and so far, no word of either of these gentlemen in Toronto. I got the octopus from CollectorCrafts. He's on Facebook and has an ebay store. We've talked about some of his work on the show before. These are the MP tapes for RP/FT Soundblaster and will not fit in the chest of chug figs if that's what you're asking. These are bigger. I may do some type of review (no promises) with the Cang figures. They are beautiful and almost complete. They look so good! Hope you enjoyed the live with Deluxe!

So, that Dr. WHOA, or is it Dr. Wow lol, but wu ever it is, that megs is OOOOOOMMMMMMGGGGGGG! Ya know, I think a combiner, like maybe Gravity Builder, or my far superior version, the NBK one. Superior you say? That thing is pure garbage.. Well, yeah, but that's what I was going for. Anyways, I'm betting there are versions of Devastator that can hold that megs in gun mode. I don't think he's going to be small enough for MP scale.

I have a couple Dr Wu figures and I haven't had any problems with them. They are tiny tiny. I think they are amazing for being able to create these figures in the scale they do and hold on to their quality.

I have Dr. Wu's Sandstorm. It has much better plastic and paint than my Magic Square Menasor, but not quite as good as my New Age figures.

Quake is too colorful for me personally. What I mean by that: Too much red. If I had the enthusiasm, I would paint him more in his G1 colors. His alt mode is ok for me. I think it's better than TR Quake. Would I get him if I had the TR version? Probably not. Slipstream looks solid to me. By that I mean okay. Slipstream as a Deluxe is okay. As a Voyager it would be too big for me. I think it would work better for me if it was made into an SG Windblade.

"Stunning scenery" or "great cinematography" is usually code (platitude) for the movie sucks but looks good while sucking.......😊 The image of Prime and Megatron fighting seems like a different animation style from what we've seen so far from the trailers. For me, the Hasbro reveals are very Meh and forgettable to I really hope I can forget what I just saw...... 😮 Bobby, "I don't need 7 versions of Omega Supreme".......... at least until the next repaint......lol Love how James started off "'we' can do the 24 hour streaming challenge" and then very quickly admitted he won't be there.....😂

I took the same thoughts about the movie comment. Well the repaint makes it a different character correct 🤷🏾 No way in the works would I do those cang figures on camera. The words I would use would offend Andrew Dice Clay and Richard Pryor for old school fans of comedy.

I know they are toys but Hasbro pisses me off at times. A Star Wars Cantina with no floor, exterior walls and no ceiling all for the low price of the 500 bucks..sorry this Is a TF channel. I don't remember if there was heavy remold use during the G1 Era. Yes we had the Datsun Bros and the seekers and a few minibars. Overall it was light. I still have all of my childhood G1 toys in quite good condition. The plastic feels better and many had die-cast and paint. Yes they had trash articulation. But Hasbro making characters out of mold that most of the time don't fit the character is bs. I also often wonder if the designers lack the skills of many 3rd parties or are they held back by Hasbro execs. I can give.plenty of example and here is 1..the new bumblebee is pretty wac....I know it's easy to criticize looking from the outside in. Last thing. I know Magic Square has gets a bad rap from some. But let me say as a person that buys both New Age and MS..the MS stuff is on point. Yes.they mostly lack paint and the plastic seems off to some. I'm not one of those ppl. All.of there combiners are dope.. I have 2 sets of each. Don't misunderstand New Age has some hits too but they have issus too..im not a fan of the excessive transformation breaks and lines...I'm just saying MS should get the credit that is due.

I agree with most of not all you stated. I'm going to have to tackle a comment about how we blast Hasbro too much. I can't speak on MS as I only have some of their MP figures and their collabs with the super deformed figures. Personally I don't like some of the paint applications but I wouldn't talk about them in a negative way. They seem to be a top brand from what I gather.

I really enjoy your show. But you blast Hasbro too much. While celebrating third party like their the best. Example with colorverse seekers, they are crap but you buy them at a premium and admit it. But not willing to give Hasbro props when their price point is way less than third party. Hasbro has more to deal with so I give them slack. They put out good figures at acceptable prices. But for sure there are misses

Ooohhh I like this statement so thanks in advance. Are you talking about both of us in general or leaning more towards me (Bot) because I bought the colorverse figures? Are you saying hasbro is the best in your statement? I would argue 3rd party is better. Typically there are no gaps, better plastic, more paint, and they don't skip out on accessories that the character has been known for. Look at Legacy Point blank vs Maketoys Contactshot as an example. Price point- Hasbro releases have been tiny in most cases recently. MP size figures are almost double the size of Mainline (which I mainly collect). When you add on an upgrade set /filler kit to the Mainline it brings the price up where it becomes comperable in price to a MP version and maybe more expensive than a legends option. So while they are all transformers there are huge differences and I just touched on a few. It's like comparing someone who buys exotic cars and saying they bash the cars we typically see on the roads everyday.

If you're only speaking MP that's different. But it's also piggy backing what I said. But I should have been clearer, mainline. And both bash on Hasbro for giving out quality these past years at the price point there are. I'm looking at the economics of it too. I deal with product development at work, so I have an idea for the cost. Now I'm not saying Hasbro is the shit and they give it banger after banger. I have my grievance with them on cutting cost on minicons, the 5 pack for hound, and other ways to pick our checking accounts. I have bought third party and for the money I don't feel like I received 3 or 4 times worth value. Sometimes they have quality issues, or easy breakage. I'm just saying for the price point of mainline, not much to complain. If anything to complain about is the stuff I mentioned, distribution, and repeat molds. Like Megatron.... I do like your channel, honesty, and information. Maybe think about discussing topics. Like collector fatigue, wife complaints, how to trim down or sell off.

I say that because sometimes text can come off the wrong way so I want to make sure that is clear that I thank you and like your comments. Ok Question. I think we can agree that Hasbro has way more money than any of these 3rd party companies. How does economics for Hasbro differ than what any other company has to go through especially a small 3rd party? My other argument, while some 3rd party figs have QC issues, most do not and if you purchase from a reputable company, there are after sales replacement parts. Pain in the ass no doubt and I receive lots of the lemons. But the cost is free of the replacement piece. My gripe with Hasbro is what you mentioned in your follow up. To many repaints /retools, missing key components, shortage of in stock figures which feeds the scalpers etc. Every Hasbro figure isn't bad and every 3rd party isn't great so I think in most part we agree. I find that my FT Gears is far superior than the Hasbro version. I like the Hasbro version and think it's fun. Probably top 5 Mainline of the year. If given the choice of either I'll choose the FT 10/10 and that goes for most.
