I feel like Transformers One will solidify the good streak of Transformers movies we've been getting so far. Bumblebee was the course correction, Rise Of The Beasts continued the direction in a awesome fashion, and now Transformers One will show the people why this franchise is so beloved by many for 40 years straight

I want a movie to really show the brotherhood and friendship between Optimus and Megatron before the war and then show each of their descents into their respective roles in the Cybertronian war in its all tragedy, very much like in the lore. Showing that backstory to the mainstream would be ideal as it would show the nuance and depth present in transformers media, instead of those nonsensical Micheal bay movies which have given transformers a very bad impression to most.

I'm thinking why Sentinel doesn't have a faction logo next to his name on the toy packaging is because like you said the factions haven't been created yet. Sentinel is the ruler of the entire planet. Factions will likely be created during Optimus snd a Megatron's fallout with Megatron creating the Decepticons to defy the dynasty of the Primes, and Optimus creating the Autobots to show that he will be better then the previous Prime's.

Idk, there are aspects of the movie I don't like. Like they made Optimus/Orion into Hot Rod? You know there are more than the arrogant, wise cracking, adventurous etc. type of young male character. And Orion most incarnations have never been such hot shot character. He was almost every iteration quiet, reliable, hard working, humble form the start. Also I'm the only one who hated Rise of the Beasts? It's boring, preictable, Mirge is outright cringe, and they made a petulant child out of Optimus.

In fairness, TF:One is ranked as the best screen tested animated film in Paramount history. That includes films like the first SpongeBob movie, Mutant Mayhem, every live action Transformers movie (due to the CGI), and the live action Sonic movies (again, due to the CGi). ROTB wasn’t given the same kind of ranking that TF: One has. So there’s a better chance that One could be more along the lines of Bumblebee and the 86 movie, if not better then both of them. We’ll see what happens come September, but a lot of the stuff surrounding the movie does really promising.

They saw an uncompleted/early cut of the movie. It’s most likely they saw the entire story with all the voice acting, but some of the animation probably wasn’t 100% completed; that’s how it usually works with test screenings for films with lots of CGI or animation.

A) This represents them as younger bots B) T Cogs are an interesting concept because they explain on HOW they can transform or scan vehicles and cybertron throughout the franchise has always had its techno organic story to where due to primus continuing his life to bring civilization such as the well of allsparks or the allspark in general or in G1 where they were created but expanded their civilization and continued on to beast wars or beast machines to where cybertron used to have some organic life and not be entirely made of metal
