Gary Chalk did a good job with G1 Megs in Beast Wars with the small G1 message, and David Kaye is amazing as Megatron. But personally my favorite is Frank Welker.

Corey Burton is also the voice of G1 Shockwave. Imagine if Animated Shockwave were voiced by Frank Welker!

Rory is awesome!!! He truly is an amazing Megatron Frank and David are Megatron period!!!! Marc Thompson really enjoyed the role and I love him he's the man of my childhood!!!

My favorite Megatron's voices: 1- Frank Welker - The classic. There's no way, he IS Megatron. 2- Hugo Weaving - So sinister as Welker, and he have a voice have a great low tone sound. 3- Corey Burton - Great at conveying the character's grandeur in his own tone. 4- Marc Thompson - Very enthusiastic and loud. Remember a bit Welker in G1, but at the same time, is very unique. I like it. 5- Jason Manorcha - Pretty unique. Instead of sounding like a fierce and brutish warlord like the four above, he sounds more like a war-weary warlord, and I think it fits and sounds good. His next tone of voice fits well for his version of Megatron. Someone agree or disagree?

If this was chronological, and follows similar to IDW, here’s what I imagine Megatron throughout his life. Rory McCann (Earthspark) - when he was D-16, gladiator, miner, and political revolutionary. Fred Tatasciore (Aligned Continuity - War/Fall of Cybertron games) - prior and at the start of the war, filled with rage and anger towards Orion’s “betrayal” and his lust for power. Hugo Weaving (movies) - Early Years of the war, where he’s starting to be more savage, and a sinister warrior and a leader. David Kaye (Unicron Trilogy) - during the Mid-years of the War as the Decepticons becoming more organized as a military than a rebellion and him being a more calm calculating military commander. Frank Welker (OG) - during the height of the war and in his prime, becoming the feared conqueror and emperor of Darkness as he is known. Jason Marnocha (Prime Wars/War for Cybertron trilogies) - during the final years of the War, having grown tired of the war and becoming weary and having doubts of the cause to the point of given up. Corey Burton (Animated) - Post War, after abandoning the cause and lost the war, would go into exile and go through some self reflection. Realizing the sins, and destruction that he has caused and how his original ideal became twisted. He decides to make amends and denounced the Decepticon ways and joined the Autobots.

Let's hope Transformers One brings back Peter Cullen and Frank Welker as a cameo for when Orion Pax and D-16 become Optimus Prime and Megatron, even if not in that film but in a future sequel

I think prime Megatron is the best voice frank did for the character. Hugo in revenge of the fallen comes in second for me.
