I do admit nick offerman would always be my second pick for a transformers movie close to G1 and the Image comics as his voice would fit close to Peter Cullen the sameway Matt jones does with starscream

Hard disagree. Everything he's done since being away from the role for 20 years just sounds so lifeless to me, he's completely lost that "fatherly" character and now has only 2 modes; wisdom spewer and angry old man.

It’s crazy to think that he has voiced this character for almost 40 years. From the 80s in 1984 to now all the way to now in 2023. Major respect to this guy for sticking around for so long.

I love how gentle and soft spoken he sounds in the 2007 movie, since it was his return to the role after many years. His voice in the later film honestly sounds even more incredible as he manages to express more emotion and personality as a war weary, scarred and battle hardener veteran and a truly wise, kind and loyal father figure than most of the human actors in thr films, one of the best aspects of these films for sure.

Peter Cullen is the goat many people including myself look up to him and Optimus Prime he has put his heart and soul into the character and many others and I aspire to be like him one day

It's a good and bad thing for what I can say. The good is that he sound more and more like a war veteran that Optimus is supposed to be. The bad? we know that he's getting old, and will one day leave us, for good. I'm not trying to sound rude, but I will absolutely cry when the day we lose our beloved Peter Cullen. I can only pray for many more years of him.

Yes, but they also wanted him to sound older, he can still do the g1 voice, he does it at every con and it sounds almost exactly the same.

At least Peter Cullen is such a legendary voice actor for Optimus Prime, even though he stopped voicing him from 1980s to 2007! Very nostalgic to hear Peter Cullen’s Optimus Prime voice for many years!

Crazy Cullen has voicd Prime for this long and so far 0 ways of it ending and him being done voicing Prime. He is Optimus Prime. If he retires or passes then good luck to whomever voices Optimus Prime cause oh boy it's gonna be extremely tough to replace Cullen as Prime

I love peter cullen. My favorite show was tranformers prime loved his lines in there. Just the design of prime in transformers prime is so good. They knew what they were doing when they said cullen got the role of prime

Peter Cullen is the best voice of Optimus Prime from The Transformers (TV Series 1984-1987) to Transformers Rise of the Beasts 2023 Autobots Roll Out. ❤️💙🤖🚚 and I like The Autobots. 😃😁

One thing that pisses me off is that people say “ohh he sounds so old, you can really tell h is older” ITS BECAUSE THEY WANTED HIM TO SOUND OLDER, HE CAN STILL DO THE G1 VOICE HE DOES IT AT EVERY CON HE GOES TO.

You know, if Cullen is gone. So does Optimus Prime. I can’t think of anyone to replace him tbh. Sure, there will be some people who can voice Optimus Prime. But Cullen’s voice will be my number 1 no matter what. Which I think, we should he prepare for it. We don’t know when it will happen, but we also need to be prepared if that day is happening. Our Darkest Hour. I hope Hasbro will either promote someone to be a new Prime to lead the Autobots. Or, making Optimus having his fitting end with a massive bang.
