The MEGGER DLRO10 and DUCTER DLRO10X bring new standards to low resistance measurement. Both are fully automatic instruments, selecting the most suitable test current, up to 10 A dc to measure resistance from 0.1 µΩ to 2000 Ω on one of seven ranges. For users who desire more control over the measurement process, DLRO 10X uses a menu system controlled by a two-axis paddle to allow manual selection of the test current. DLRO10X also adds real-time download of results and on-board storage for later download to a PC.

Hi , I have a Megger DLRO-10 with me and showing the error code of 114. Error 114 , it need to be recalibrate. Please explain how to do the factory re-settings for the above error.

Sure will, but it's probably not what you're looking for. You probably want to do a high potential test. That puts a high voltage on the windings and should help you find any insulation breakdown. The DLRO shown puts a high current across items like contacts of a breaker. It's not designed to check for insulation problems. BTW, Megger is a brand name, not a device description. However, the word Megger is commonly used to describe a device to check for insulation failure or breakdown so Megger is a brand name, not a test device.

@@wh2410 I think I understand that the initial question is well done. based on the non-concu- lar response, because I can ask if the DLRO is used to measure coils of 10 MVA generators where a short circuit between turns can be evidenced. It could also be applied in a power transformer. What do you think about this? Best regards. Fabian Diaz
