Which month is best to visit Meghalaya so that not much heavy rainfall will be there but the waterfalls are filled with water

June to October should be avoided because of heavy rainfall. You can expect little rain in April and May(Monsoon starts) where you can see water in waterfalls but not extreme. But if you want clear waters in Dawki river then go before April(Almost no rain)

Amazing!!!!. I am planning a 3N 4D trip. Solo for the first ever time. Can you help me with the places you stayed at? And how you booked your cab? Excluding air fare what was the total cost?

I only stayed at Shillong at a home stay (Airbnb) called annex home . I might have mentioned details in this Meghalaya series Vlog somewhere in the last day . And regarding cab I got contact from the Airbnb host only . They charged 10-11k for 3 days after bargain. On the last day I boooked another cab for 1 point n airport costed me 2000 I guess . Finding better food might be challenging since I was staying 4 kms away from city . You can prefer staying at police bazar, that’s in the city. Total cost was more for me because I stayed at Guwahati for 1 day too . Don’t remember exact amount but would be close to 22 to 23k for food , stay n travel only . Have a great trip :)
