I never understood racism until my children went to school my daughter was severely bullied because the kids in her high school thought she wasn't all Hispanic or Caucasian . I had to take her out her junior year it devastated are family. She had low self esteem. My child went through many years dealing with this trauma . But she is now a mother and teacher so proud.
