The red Carolina Herrera dress that she wore in NY was actually for the Salute To Freedom Gala at the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum which is basically a retired iron ship docked on Manhattan’s west side. She was overdressed and many people were offended that Harry was handing out awards/medals to our military. Tell me why he should have that honor when his service was fake and he’s from another country.

@Seeriousley I don’t blame the designers or the clothes. We all have unique bodies, but given the chance to safely apply their expertise, I think tailors could modify the styles to much better effect than she has thus far achieved. They may never get her into the upper echelons of fashion icons, but feel they could at least halve the current divide. I don’t think she’s looked awful in everything she’s ever put on, so don’t feel it’s mission impossible to make her presentation more respectable/less mockable.

One thing I've noticed about Narcissists (some at least) is that they refuse to acknowledge any personal flaws including that they have gained a pound or two. This is not a body shaming comment, just a comment on how bizarre it is to pour yourself into a size smaller so that you can say you are the same size as you were in college rather than wear something that fits and is more flattering. She looks like a football player bursting out of the back of the black dress. Shame that she would have looking quite pretty if she wore a size that fit her.

I made a similar comment already about thinking she has some sort of body dysmorphia in refusing to acknowledge she no longer has the frame she once did. But then she goes and wears clothes sometimes that make me think she views herself as much larger than she actually is and wants to drown her flaws from view. Her insecurities seem to distort her reflection differently depending on the day but never allow her to see herself as she actually is.

The members of our Royal Family have always had the best dressers and stylist on hand - world renowned. You can take a look at our late Queen Elizabeth, Queen Consort Camilla, Princess Catherine, Princess Ann, Duchess Sophie, Zara... all of them have always looked impeccable... and then there's Megraine. I can't recall one time she looked amazing in anything she was wearing... even her wedding dress. There's that awful tight fitting blue one, when they're holding hands and they don't let go to even walk around a centre piece and then he goes to shake hands with someone and she stubbornly stands still and keeps holding his hand while he stretches as far as he can to shake the man's hand.. Like are they wearing some sort of invisible hand cuffs? Super glue in his hand cream? How rude, can't he just let go to show respect? But anyway the blue dress was awfully tight and unflattering as well. She loves herself so much she just can't see how bad she looks. Just an FYI, that red monstrosity she wore in the first clip, was not worn to any fashion awards or council gala. It was 2021 in NYC at the USS Intrepid where Harry was giving an award to someone in the US Military. There were understandably many angry service men & women over having a foreign-born prince of the UK, who no longer represents anything other than self-interest, being chosen to give this award. Even tackier, they had someone sing God Save The Queen, after singing the US national anthem. It was insanely inappropriate. Meghan was not supposed to be at this event. Rumor is, & I believe it, is that she lost her mind after seeing Catherine's sunning appearance, just days before, at the James Bond premiere at Royal Albert Hall splashed everywhere, on tv & on newsstands. She stupidly believed she could out-glam Catherine's gold Jenny Peckham gown, & more. She failed so bad & honestly, I started feeling a bit sorry for Meghan because it must be a joyless existence to live your life wanting to "beat your sister-in-law" at everything, & even though Catherine hasn't chosen to participate in this ongoing competition Meghan created, she still tops Meghan at every turn. That dress even more disturbingly went through a final fitting the night before. They showed clips of the fitting on Netflix. Something tells me everyone knew she looked horrible in it, that it was way too tight in back making it look like she had back fat, but no one would dare tell her, or they happily trolled her as payback for being a bully.

Thanks so much for addressing the BRA issue!!! A good percentage of the time, her constant choice of a strapless bra has made her fashion choice a million times worse and looks beyond ill fitting!!! Plus it adds lumps and bumps that looks to add an extra 10-15 lbs to her overall silhouette. So many outfits also looks like she said “I am a size 8….I mean a 2…Yes, I will take it in a size 2!” Then looking like a totally stuffed sausage in the end!🥴

I actually have a theory as to why she's always looking dishevled. 1. she just doesn't have an easy body type to dress well. 2. any designer and stylist help she does have access to doesnt get utilised properly because she's stubborn and doesn't listen and 3. which is probably the biggest problem of all - she winds up fighting and arguing over what to wear, how to wear it - whether it fits properly or not etc... she'll argue with everyone and anyone possibly even going into a full rage or emotional melt down then has no time to properly get ready. I've said this about her wedding hair - I bet it was a huge battle to just get her hair done and they ran out of time and had to just throw something together

It’s funny that you’d bring up her posture. It’s something I noticed about Catherine before marrying William. You could tell she had style and was beautiful but AFTER marriage, do they send you to posture school? Her style sharpens but her posture becomes so singular that I’m convinced we can be taught better. Yes! I noticed that too and the longer Catherine has been in the family the more regal she looks. From her head to her toes - impeccable. I think Lady C mentioned that she did receive some training for her speech as well. In the first years as a royal the Princess of Wales was so nervous, but I’m so glad that she has eventually come into her own in her role in the monarchy. I think it also helped that the Prince of Wales was adamant that his wife was not Diana 2.0 and that she had TIME to carve out her own path

The difference is that Catherine has proved time and again that she is humble and willing to learn. I think she has had some "finishing school" type lessons, but that is kudos to her for being willing to learn, to look at herself and make changes to reflect well on the royal family. I think William needs to be praised as well. I think he protected Catherine all the way to ensure that she had time to develop her style. Now she is just absolutely stunning. Cool, confident, polished, stylish and very regal.

I’m only sad that the gold was so spectacular and received so much (due) attention that it would likely be seen as trying to recapture past glory to re-wear it.
