I think Meghan has been trawling through the history of the royals again to find things she could copy. Back in the early days of the late Queen Mother's marriage to the then Prince Albert (later King George VI), she was nicknamed The Smiling Duchess, because she was always smiling when out and about, and she became very popular with the public. Perhaps Meghan is trying to copy that, after all she has been copying Diana, Wallis, and Catherine, in terms of clothing and affectations of mannerisms, and stole the late Queen Elizabeth II's nickname for her daughter. Meghan copies because she doesn't have creativity of her own (that's why she can't even create contents for her podcasts and Netflix contract) and then hope the public is stupid enough to buy her "rebranding."
