I would put in a clause that puts a time for him to receive that money after the Kings passing. In other words, don’t automatically give it to him. My son and Harry served at the same time. Mine was intel, he trained his squad, in Arizona. Then they went to a foreign desert, and my son did the math. Everyone under him survived. Prince Phillip was an extremely humble man. He would never allow the conversation to be about him and if that happened he would turn the conversation away from himself and put the focus on his good cause. The Duke of Edinburgh Awards did so much good. He was our late Queen’s right hand man and I see a lot of his attributes in Prince William who does the same. Take note,Rachel,we weren’t told what to do we just did it! He said ‘how are you all enjoying the day off school?’ and we all yelled yes. Then he said ‘well aren’t you all glad that I decided to come today’,omg! We all went quiet and just looked at each other and then he burst out laughing and then we all started laughing. He was so nice and had a great sense of humour.

It’s something that I will always remember and he was just so lovely and I told my kids when they did their last official tour in Australia 🇦🇺 in 2011. I had met him in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and I pulled my kids out of school to see them sailing down the Brisbane River and I got in trouble with the School Principal! As my kids would say ‘whatever’! When the Queen died my daughter was 18yo and posted up on Instagram or Snapchat or whatever it was that the kids go on and they were all ‘omg you saw the Queen,awesome’. When my daughter told them that the Principal had called me in lol.. they all said that she has an awesome mum. Go me lol…🤣

Then add in Nanny, laundry, cleaner, housekeeper, driver etc. not many families could afford to pay the full time mum a salary for all that she does. Both Catherine and William are very much hands on parents and it shows. William has also been accused of being ‘work shy’ when he was in the RAF with a job!!!

You are fabulous! I remember seeing an interview with Princess Diana and they were discussing something really stupid that Harry had done while he was at Eton. The interviewer asked why he would do such a stupid thing (I'm paraphrasing) and Diana said " well, he can be a bit dim" and both of them had a good laugh about whatever it was. I was horrified that Princess Diana would call her child a bit dim, but I certainly understand now that she got it right; he IS a bit dim, amongst other despicable qualities. Cheers from Canada.
